For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Richardson AnnetteRICHARDSON, Annette (nee Young)  - Passed away peacefully at the Haliburton Hospital on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 with her family at her side.

At the age of 77.

Beloved wife of the late Jim.

Dear sister of Kathleen and her husband Norman, Michael and his wife Carole.

Aunt to Lorraine (Steven), Amy (Benjamin), Richard (Mhairi), great aunt to Christopher, Flynn, Thea, Mabel. Cousin to Joan, Patricia, Julie, Cathy and their children Candice, Christopher, Cory, Victoria and special “auntie” to Summer, Carson, Benjamin, Addison and Christian.

Special friend to Scotty Morrison and his extended family and Marilyn Lesperance for being there. Fondly remembered by her community friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 7 Bobcaygeon Rd., Minden on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the church hall. Cremation to follow.

Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
