For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

MINNIE, Ronald - (long-time employee of CGE)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Springdale Country Manor at the age of 74 years.

Beloved husband of Linda Druce.

Dear friend of John Druce (Claudette), Janice Clark (Ray), Raymond Clark, Natalie and the late Courtney Druce.

Dear brother of Gerald (the late Lois), Bill (Delores), Bev Vaillancourt (Keith), Joan Thompson (Ken), Carol Montgomery, Shirley McIndoo (the late Don)  and the late Roger and brother-in-law of Brian Druce, Roy Druce (Laura), Carol Jones, Brenda Clarke and Barbara Smith (Greg).

Uncle Ron will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their extended families especially, Michael and Michele.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 12 noon - 3 p.m. at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 MONAGHAN ROAD S., 705-745-3211. A Funeral Service will commence at 3 p.m. in the Nisbett Chapel.
