McCrory DonMcCRORY, Donald Charles 'Don' – In God’s providence, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, Donald Charles McCrory was promoted to Glory for eternal life on Friday June 2, 2017, in his 61st year. For him, joy! For us, deep sorrow and grief, "yet we do not grieve as those who have no hope." Instead, we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God!

Don is survived by his cherished wife and best friend of 38 years, Joan (nee Pearson); his daughter Sarah (Jeff McLean); his son Evan (Meaghan Denault); his mother Helen (nee Jemmett); his brother Russ (Debbie); his sister Sandra Devins (Doug); his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends. Don was predeceased by his father Stanley “Emmett”.

Don was born in Timmins on July 12, 1956, living there until his family moved to Kitchener in 1966. He is a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute where he excelled at track and field.

Beloved wife of the late Clarence Thompson.

Dear mother of Ronald (June) Thompson of Alberta, Michael K Thompson of Manitoba, and predeceased by Linda Plant. Survived by her sister Bernice McNamara of Peterborough. Hilda will be remembered by extended family and friends.

Beloved husband of Jane (nee Dudley) for 65 years. Devoted father of Dave Leeson (Sue). Adored grandfather of Michael (Tracey), Steven (Marsha) and Stacy and great-grandfather of Jacob, Zac, Kayla, Kallen and Nella.

Brother of Russ Leeson (Beryl) and brother-in-law of Ruth Devry (the late Howard), Bob Dudley (the late Iris) and Jim Dudley (Cathy). Predeceased by parents John and Florence (nee Middaugh) Leeson, sister Norma McCulligh (the late Lloyd) and brother Chesley Leeson.

Predeceased by her loving husband Jack (1996). Daughter of the Late Roy and Gertrude Nevins, and sister of the late Wes.

Special grandma to Kyle Stillman, Adam Stillman (Sara), and great grandma to little Sophia Stillman. Dear sister-in-law of Isabel Hendren.

 

Telford TomTELFORD, Thomas William 'Tom' - Passed away on June 1st, 2017 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 60.

Predeceased by his longtime friend and companion for over 20 years, Stephen Bates (April 2017) and by his parents Marien and Percival Telford.

Deeply missed by his siblings, Ken Telford (predeceased by Eleanor and Madeline), Jim Telford (Margaret), Joyce Dudman (Bill), Gail Hildenbrand, and Larry Telford (Nancy). He was adored and much loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

 

Taylor WilliamTAYLOR, William Anthony - (1970 - 2017) - William was born March 1, 1970 in Truro, Nova Scotia. He has since resided in Peterborough, passing away on June 1st, 2017.

Survived by his wife of 24 years Tammy Taylor. Father of Trevor (Amber), Austin, Brent and Carson. Grandfather of Phillip and Daniel.

Brother of Richard (Joi), Thomas John (Olivia), Ernest, June, Michelle (Mark) and Nadine. Son of Shirley Taylor (nee Nevin) and predeceased by his father Thomas Howe and step - father Hugh Taylor. Moloney PatriciaMOLONEY, Patricia Catherine 'Beck' - To the world at large, she was Pat. To those who cherished her most dearly, she was Beck. During this time of tender loss and fond remembrance, we are saddened to announce Beck's death on May 31st, 2017.

Born to Peter and Sarah Moloney on May 25th, 1929, Beck completed their family of six children and was cradled in love from the day of her birth. Beck's formative years played out against the backdrop of the family farm with her siblings Alice (John O'Leary (d. 1953) and James Kinlin), Mick (Catherine Heffernan), Homer (Lorraine Young), Mary (Pat O'Donnell) and Tim (Dorothy Crough).

Byron received his Chartered Accountant Degree in 1969 and in 1976 moved on to be the Proud Owner of Outram Fuels in Lindsay for 41 years.

Before his passing, Byron said “I leave behind my much loved wife and devoted caregiver Theresa (nee Murray), my wonderful children - daughter Janet, husband Mike Craig, grandsons Jack and Alex, son Jason, wife Shawna and grandson Lucas.”

TUCKER, Dorothy May (née Rigney) - Surrounded by her family, Dorothy passed away May 23rd, 2017 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

Born in Wolseley, Saskatchewan in 1934 to Edward and Mildred Rigney, Dorothy went on to train as a nurse at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, graduating in 1955. Dorothy's career spanned service as a nurse at the Peterborough Civic Hospital and the Medical Centre and as a home care co-ordinator with the Community Access Centre.
