RITCH, William (Bill) James - WWII - February 6, 1923 - January 1, 2018 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Ritch. After a brief illness, he passed in his sleep Monday, January 1, 2018 at Dufferin Oaks Extended Care Home. He will now sleep eternally with his late wife, Jean Catherine (nee Corbett) who passed away in September, 2015.
Bill served aboard the Corvette HMCS Collingwood during WWII as an Able Seaman. After the end of the war, Bill spent the next 25 years as a photographer for The Royal Canadian Air Force until his retirement. His second career was with the Etobicoke Board of Education as an Audio Visual Technician at Etobicoke Collegiate until his retirement.
Brian was born on November 4, 1962 to Del and Barbara Sweet.
Adoring husband to Cindy (Bell), devoted father to Victoria and predeceased daughter Natalie. Predeceased by his father, survived by his loving mother, 3 brothers and sister, their spouses and the many nieces and nephews who will greatly miss his humour and loving spirit.

STEVENS, Doris Irene (Carter) - May 2, 1921 to January 1, 2018 - Doris stepped over Heaven’s threshold in the early hours of January 1, 2018 at the age of 96. She had been a resident of Fairvern Nursing Home, Huntsville as a result of a stroke in April 2017.
She is now with the lord she loved, her husband Lloyd Stevens, her sister Reta Knight (Myrle), Brothers Wesley (Elsie) and Douglas. Left to miss her is her daughter Joy Reid (Sherwood) and sister in law Elsie Carter, along with many nieces and nephews.
ADAIR-FORBES, Lynda Maureen - Lynda has left the party. She passed away at 12:15pm, Monday, January 1, 2018, in her 70th year, with dignity and grace, and with her family by her side.
