A constant inspiration, he had a commitment to living every day to its fullest and engaged his family and friends in his passion for new adventures and endless projects.

Elinor gave so much of herself to her family and will be deeply missed by her husband, Ted Phillips, her stepdaughters, Julie and Lisa, her grandchildren, Nigel, Marissa and Mallory, her great-grandchildren, Gibson, Rowan, Casper and Luca, and her dear cousin Linda Kenney.

DIRSTEIN, Ted - Passed away on the evening of June 2, 2017 doing what he loved. He died as the result of a private plane crash near the Muskoka Airport.
Survived by his loving wife Karen, his two devoted daughters Laurelea and Karina, his mother Audrey, brother Bradley and nephews Jeremy and Trevor (Amanda and Jaden).
Ted recently served as a test pilot for the Expedition airplane developed and built in Parry Sound and was currently working with Lake Central in Muskoka as a flight trainer. An accomplished pilot, his flying skills were highly regarded in the aviation industry.
