SHANNON, George Thomas - Born October 22, 1935, passed away quietly on Sunday, July 1, 2018, surrounded by family at Campbell House hospice care in Collingwood.
George was 82 years old. He is survived by his wife Susan Shannon, and her son Matthew Walach (Emily D’Amato) and George’s children from his first wife, Eleanor Simpson (nee Gillespie) - Mark Shannon (Camelia Linta), Heather Short (Howard), Erin Pennacchio (George) and Sean Shannon (Beth).

LAMON, Dr. Charles “Chuck” - Passed away peacefully at Fairvern Nursing Home on July 1, 2018. He was in his 93rd year.
Chuck was born and raised in 1925 in Orangeville, Ontario where he lived what he considered to be an idyllic, rural childhood. He joined the Canadian Navy in 1944 at the age of 19 and served in Canada until the end of the war. He completed his medical degree at the University of Toronto in 1953 and worked as a radiologist at the Brantford General Hospital for 30 years. When he retired, he said he could count on the fingers of one hand the days he didn’t look forward to going to work.

GENZ, Anita Magdelena (Reisch) Genz - Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, on July 1, 2018 surrounded by her children; Harold (Karen), Gabriele, and Wolfgang (Shelley).
She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother and sister in Germany.
Anita is survived by her loving husband Horst.
LIEDTKE, Erika - At the age of 96, Erika passed away peacefully at Lakeland Long Term Care in Parry Sound.
She was the loving wife to Erhard (predeceased) and devoted mother to Edith (Dave) and Karen (Terry).
She will be missed by her grandchildren Eric (Catherine), Laura (Daniel) and great-grandchild Jack.

Ann is predeceased by her loving husband Glenn Francis Bond.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Glenda (Mel) Higdon, Beverley (Robert) Speare, Shelley (Ron) Bone and David Bond, her 14 grandchildren and her adopted Daughter Deborah Smith Doyle.

REVER, Alexander "Alex" William - It is with heavy hearts we share that Alexander "Alex" William Rever, 25, of Tiny, Ontario passed away unexpectedly in the afternoon of June 17, 2018 on Gun Lake, near Bralorne, British Columbia.
Born in Orillia, Ontario on April 10, 1993.
With a passion for extreme sports, he was always eager to share the thrill with family, friends, and members of the community, which brought with it so many laughs and great memories.
GUNN, Wyla Irene (nee MacDonald) - April 29, 1929 (Vasey, Ontario) - July 16, 2018 (Ajax, Ontario) - Wyla passed peacefully at Ballycliff Retirement Home.
A kind, gentle and loving person, Wyla brought happiness in all its forms (including untold numbers of butter tarts and French Apple pies) to those who were lucky enough to come in contact with her.
A farmer’s daughter (John Sterling & Hazel MacDonald), Wyla knew the value of hard work and what was required to provide a loving home.
HARE, M. Elizabeth 'Betty' - Long-time resident of Huntsville died Friday July 13, 2018 at Muskoka Landing, Huntsville, Ontario.
Born in Belfast Ireland on March 22, 1925, she was the third of six daughters to Rev. William John Major and Elizabeth Smith. Betty graduated from the Ottawa Civic Hospital School of Nursing in 1947 and married Ron Hare in 1948.
