Croteau RonCROTEAU, Ronald Joseph - June 21, 1961 - September 2, 2016 - Ron ( also known to some as Rene) passed peacefully after a struggle with cardiac illness.

He is survived by Karrol, his wife of thirty years and his daughter Anjelique who is in grade 10 at St. Joseph’s Catholic High School.

He is also survived by siblings Roger (Sharon), George (Donna), Lisa DeMaria (Cosimo), Diane Mason (Wayne), Pearl Blanchard (Robert), Germaine Black (Gary) and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Ron is predeceased by his parents Rouville (1986) and Irene (2008) and his eldest sister Denise DeForest (2016).

Ron lived his life his way, was full of grand ideas and was filled with a desire to protect and help others.

Ron adored his daughter and was a family man. He recently was involved in a music venture called Kansas Stone that he had a deep regard and passion for.

Ron will be missed beyond measure by those who truly loved him for who he was.

Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre, Alliston on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 65 Amelia St. Barrie on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

If desired, donations in his name can be made to the RVH Foundation, Hearts and Minds Campaign that supports mental health for children and adolescents.
