Woodhouse DonWOODHOUSE, Donald James - (1932 - 2016) - Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital with family by his side on September 5, 2016, in his 85th year.

Don Woodhouse, loving husband of the late Norma (nee Ivey) and the late Isobel (nee Simms).

Devoted father of Donna (Dale), Susan (Joe predeceased), Lori (John), Nancy, Gail (predeceased), Michael (Dalia) and Peter (Eileen).

Loving Papa to Sherry, Shawn, Toni, Jessica, Stevie and Dawn and great grandfather of 6.

Cherished son of the late Alf & Nora Woodhouse.

Dear brother of Ken, Dolly, Alf, Herb, and Joe all predeceased.

Don worked for Canada Bread in the early 1950's, which he enjoyed thoroughly. He spoke often of his experiences & the wonderful families he met through those years. He then joined the Metropolitan Life Insurance as an agent & manager in the late 1950's where he repeatedly was the number one agent in Ontario.

Don's greatest gift was his voice which he shared through the Guardian Angels Choir for 52 years. Don will be remembered for his humour, laughter and the love he had for his family. The laughter will continue as we talk of Don and all the wonderful memories.

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia on Thursday, September 8th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held in the parlour Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 9th at 10 a.m. Interment at Orillia.

If desired, memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children or the charity of one's choice would be gratefully appreciated.
