Hekman BrianHEKMAN, Brian Matthew - Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in his 49th year.

Beloved husband of Lisa Hekman (nee Wiley).

Loving daddy to Tyler and Isla.

Son of the late Patricia and Herman Hekman.

Dear brother of Kathi (Victor Anderson).

Son-in-law of Mary and Garry Wiley. Loved uncle of David Anderson. Brian will be sadly missed by James and Mary Lou Hunter his extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre, Alliston on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 5 - 9p.m. Funeral service will be held at Living Faith Community Presbyterian Church 206 Murphy Rd. Baxter on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Alliston.

If so desired memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe, Barrie or St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Schomberg would be appreciated.

Brian dedicated his career as a Paramedic to the citizens of Ontario from 1998 - 2016. He was a founding member of the County of Simcoe Paramedic Honor Guard and a volunteer firefighter with the Town of Innisfil. Brian's professional legacy will live on thru his teachings of Paramedicine to many students across the province.
