KNIGHTON, Reymund 'Rey' - Passed away peacefully on Sunday February 5, 2017 at the West Parry Sound Health Centre (WPSHC) just shy of his 80th birthday.

A stalwart member of the business community in Strathroy for 40 years, from a sole-practioner to a partner in BDO (Strathroy), and in the volunteer community in Parry Sound after his retirement. A member of Kiwanis, the Blue Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and Shriners meant his circle of friends was very large.

Most currently he was a past member of the Boards of the McKellar Public Library and the WPSHC Foundation and a volunteer at WPSHC information desk. He will be missed by the people whose lives he touched even if only recognized by his actions.

He has gone to join Shirley, who he missed greatly when she predeceased him in 2014.

His children and their spouses, Leslie and James, Bentley and Lynda, Andrew and Susan wish to thank all the medical professionals, especially Dr. Woodhouse and his associates, for their many years of kindness and support.

Rey spent his last holiday season with his children and grandchildren, Reyden, Dante, Emilie and Dominic and we will have that memory forever.

A memorial service for Rey to be held in the spring.

Donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
