Farrell JeanFARRELL, Jean Lillian - Of Barrie, Ontario passed away on Saturday March 11, 2017 at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

She was born on September 20, 1929 in North Hatley Quebec.

Jean is survived by her sister Isabel Nelson of Quebec.Jean's sons Shane (deceased), Roderick - Lenore(ex) (grandchildren Joseph, Katherine, Laura), Steven - Mary and Gregory - Karen(ex) grandchild Tyler.

As well her great grandchildren from Laura / Mike; Sienna and Riley.

Jean raised 4 boys as a single parent and attended Sheridan College in 1974 becoming a Registered Nursing Assistant and worked at Humber Memorial for several years.

As well she was a swimming instructor at Jack Buckler aquatics in the 1980's. Later in life she was a Caregiver for several families in Mississauga and Barrie.

She loved to cook, garden and playing card games in Barrie. Jean was full of love and enjoyed her home in Barrie for over 38 Years.

With much gratitude, special thanks to RVH staff in Barrie for the wonderful care she received.

She will be missed dearly by her wonderful friends Maureen (Red Cross) and Joan Parker of Barrie.

The visitation is from 4 - 6 PM on Friday, March 17, 2017, Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie.
