Lovejoy HelenLOVEJOY, Helen Marie (née Tinson) - Of Lafontaine, Ontario, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love, on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Georgian Bay General Hospital, after a brave battle with lung disease.

The 81 year old trivia-master and former double-agent was well known for her fierce intellect, sharp tongue, timeless style, resilience, generosity, kindness, and wit.

A frequent volunteer, Helen made friends wherever she went, baked the world's best pie, loved to laugh, and never put on airs.

Helen is survived by Frank: her best friend, dance partner, and husband of 58 years.

She is also mourned by her brothers Jim and Bill (Mary); devoted children Ramona (Jim), Karen (Gary) and Frank (Lynne); her grandchildren Michelle (Sean), Matthew, Amber, Mike, Rikki, and Megan; and her great-grandchildren Ruben and Josephine.

She is preceded by mother Anne (nee Potter) and father Herbert Tinson, and sisters Margaret and Ivy.

In accordance with Helen's wishes, there will be no service, however, her family will gather to honour her in a celebration of life, and will hold her in their hearts forever.
