Parco JamesPARCO, Joseph Anthony - Peacefully passed away on April 10, 2017 after a brief illness.

Beloved husband of Shirley (nee McElrea), loving father of Lynne (Stu), Anne (Greg) and Patti (Brian).

Cherished grandfather of Kyle (Yean), Ben, Mark, Ryan, Drew, Marlee and Jenna.

Proud great grandfather to Marcus and Matteo.

Joe was born in Timmins on January 10, 1930 to Luigina and Anthony Parco. He was always proud to be from northern Ontario.

Joe's love for his family was unrivalled and he has left behind many treasured memories of vacations, birthdays and also the Friday night cocktail hour when family arrived for the weekend.

His "joie de vivre" was contagious as he never passed up an opportunity to chat with people in the neighbourhood, out for dinner or when travelling. He will be fondly remembered for his caring, compassion, welcoming home, his smile, gregarious nature and zest for life.

Friends may visit at Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia on Wednesday April 12, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. with interment and refreshments to follow.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Soldiers 1 and the ICU for their care and support.
