WALWORK, Evelyn - May 30, 1923 - April 2, 2017 - Evelyn and her husband Lionel operated the Craigleith General Store and gas station for over twelve years before retiring. The store was a popular stop for locals, fishermen and skiers travelling through Craigleith on Highway 26 between Collingwood and Owen Sound.

Predeceased by her husband Lionel Walwork (1998) and by her brother Thomas Armitstead, she is survived by two sisters, Frances and Gladys.

Following her husband's death, she moved to the Comox Valley in British Columbia to be near her daughter Barbara, her son Bryan and his wife, Catherine Connell.

Soon after, her granddaughter Lisa Walwork and husband Todd Southen moved to the Comox Valley with their children, Joshua and Samuel, to whom she was “GG”.

There will be a private family gathering to remember Evelyn at a future date..
