He was a family doctor in Midland for 51 years, providing care for his patients at St. Andrew's, Huronia District and Georgian Bay General Hospitals. He served as Chief of Staff and participated on various hospital committee's during his career. He was a proud member of the Midland Bay Sailing Club for 47 years and sailed the waters of Georgian Bay where he was in his element!

He was loved and admired for his gentle, compassionate manner towards his patients, for his many talents, his keen sense of humor and his unwavering love for his family.  He will always be in our hearts.

The family would like to thank the staff of CCAC (NSM LHIN), Bayshore Nursing, Paramed, Georgian Bay General Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital, Sunnybrook Odette Centre and the physicians and specialists who provided exceptional care. A special thanks to wonderful friends near and far who have been a great comfort to us all.

A celebration of his life will be arranged and announced in the near future.

If desired, donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation, Royal Victoria Regional Cancer Care Centre or Sunnybrook Odette Centre would be appreciated.
