For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Wager FrankWAGER, Francis 'Frank' - Passed away at home on Sunday February 11, 2018.

Beloved husband of Joyce.  

Dear son of the late Wesley and Mabel Wager. 

Loved by his daughter Linda (Butch); Step-father of Trudy Hubacheck (Ron); Adopted father of Kelly Todd; father of Joan Frank, and Sandra. 

Remembered by his granddaughter Robin and grandfather and great grandfather to many. 

Predeceased by his sister Margaret Crawford. 

Cherished by 5 generations of nieces and nephews. 

Loving companion of Tux. 

Friends will be received at the Torrance Funeral Home, Parry Sound on Friday February 16, 2018 from 10 – 11 AM.  The Celebration of Life will follow at 11 AM.  Spring interment. 

 If desired as an expression of sympathy donations to the House of Kin – Sudbury, Care Partners, or the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation – ICU would be appreciated by the family.
