For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

MCAULAY, Mildred Mary (nee Jackson) - Peacefully at Muskoka Shores Care Community Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on
Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Mildred McAulay at the age of 95 years.

Beloved wife of the late Everett Edmund McAulay who predeceased Mildred on May 19, 1991.

Beloved mother to Glen & his wife Nancy McAulay and Dale Brody (Wayne Archer) both of Gravenhurst.

Mildred was predeceased by her daughter Donna Fawcett (Tom).

Beloved grandmother to Brian (Julia) McAulay of Barrie, Mark (Karen) McAulay of Barkway, Kimberly (Mark) Cameron of Housey Rapids, Timothy (Shannon) Brody of Sioux Lookout, Dawn Archer of Barrie, Kristine (Michael) Taylor of Gravenhurst, Erin Fawcett of Barrie and Joel Fawcett of Gravenhurst.

Great grandmother to Seth, Owen, Landon, Colton, Easton, MacAuley, Chase, Charlotte, Julia, Rachel, William and Sean.

In keeping with Mrs. McAulay’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate Mrs. McAulay’s life will be held in the future.
