For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Watkinson HelenWATKINSON, Helen Marie - May 25, 1939 - June 08, 2018 - Suddenly at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Friday June 8, 2018 at the age of 79. 

Dear daughter of the late Guy and Viola Armstrong.  

Beloved wife of Ronald Herman Watkinson Sr. 

Loving mother of Ronnie (Laurie), Donnie (late Denise), Doug and Charlene (Ed). 

Cherished grandmother to Raeleena (Tyler), Candace, Hunter, Graham, R.T., Melissa, Amanda, Donald Jr., Dawson, Ryan and Jessica. 

Also remembered by her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Helen will be greatly missed by her special niece Mieke. 

Dear sister to Floyd (Shirley), Mervin, Don (Karen), Wilma (Jim), Marlene (late Ross), Larry (Roxanne), Darrell (Holly) and Bruce (Daniel). 

Fondly remembered by her C.T. friends.

Friends and family will be received at the Torrance Funeral Home, Parry Sound on Monday June 11, 2018 from 1 – 3 PM.  The Funeral will follow in the Chapel at 3 PM.
