GALT, Helen Winsloe (Hyndman) - Helen was born April 5, 1920, and died peacefully in Toronto on October 6, 2020, in her 101st year.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Maunsell Galt, the love of her life for 70 years of marriage.
Helen is survived by her two loving children, George Galt (Alyse Frampton) and Lesley Brown (Stephen) and by four beloved grandchildren: Vanessa Galt (Simon Gorecki), Hilary Santoni (Dave), Michael Brown (Danielle), and Rebecca Brown Newman (Scott).
She was predeceased in 2013 by her grandson Christopher Brown (Leslie), whom she also adored.

McGRATH, Sister Margaret, CSJ, (formerly Sister Ambrosia) - Died peacefully at the Sisters of St. Joseph Residence, 2 O'Connor Drive, Toronto, Ontario, on October 5, 2020, in the 81st year of her religious life.
Sister Margaret was the eldest daughter of Patrick McGrath and Mary Donnelly.
She was predeceased by her sisters Patricia and Theresa, and her brothers, Joseph and Edward.
Sister Margaret will be sadly missed by her brother Gary, her many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, friends, and Sisters in community.
Sister Margaret entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto on September 8, 1939 and received the habit on March 19, 1940.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald Wormald.
Ron was born in the UK to Ralph and Jessica Wormald.
Orphaned by the age of 14, Ronnie was lucky to be offered a place at the Royal Hospital School, now a well-known private school, but at the time a school for children of Naval orphans.
He excelled at school in both academics and sports and was Head of Hood House.

Christina was born in the Philippines to Remedios and Tomas Hashim on February 12, 1948.
She immigrated to Toronto Canada in 1989 and bravely started a new life with 2 young children.
She lost her husband at an early age; trusting the Lord in her sorrow, she found the strength to stand strong raising her two boys with all the love and support they needed to prosper.

WILSON, Samuel - Sam passed away peacefully at the Bridgepoint palliative care centre on October 5 from complications arising from bladder cancer.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 67 years, Betty; his sons Bryan (Stephanie) and Gary (Nancy); his grandchildren Mark, Sean, Katie, Jamie and Patrick, and his great-grandchildren Asher and Brady.
Sam was born in 1932 in Comber, N. Ireland where he met the love of his life, Betty.
While his soccer skills would have allowed him to stay and play professionally, he immigrated to Toronto in 1953, with less than $20 in his pocket, in search of greater opportunity.
Betty joined him a few months later and they were married that year.

BROWN, Marjorie Eileen - July 4, 1927 - October 5, 2020
Twinkle in, twinkle out. Marjorie is now reunited with her husband and dancing partner Jack Brown and her siblings Lorne Powell, Kay Braun and Ev Cartier.
We will miss our Mom but we lost her memory by memory over the past seven years.
She loved us - Paul and Jill Brown - Auchinachie, Jaquelyn and Dalton Clark, Cathy and Ken Coffin, and Elaine and Rick Jenkins.
She adored her grandchildren, Jennifer, Reid, Mitch and Emma, and great-granddaughter Frankie.
Marjorie was born in 1927 in Hearst, Ontario.

MACENKO, George - 1934 - 2020 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of George Macenko on October 5, 2020, in his 86th year.
Beloved husband of Margaret for 62 years.
George graduated from the University of Toronto as a Mechanical Engineer and worked for Ford Motor Co. in Oakville for many years.
He then worked at Scriveners Engineering and finally Giffels Associates, until his retirement.
George travelled the world extensively for business and pleasure.
One of George's many accomplishments was getting his private pilot's license.

GEORGOPOLOUS, Nicholas 'Nick' - Passed away suddenly at his home in Keswick, Ontario on Monday October 5, 2020, at the age of 70 years.
Nick was the much loved uncle of Helen Georgopolous (Stuart Young) of Toronto, Susan Georgopolous (Mladen Proevski) of Collingwood and Katherine (Paul Carpanini) of West Vancouver, and great uncle of Lucas and Alexandra Proevski, and Giacomo and Noah Carpanini.
He will be greatly missed by all of his friends at the Pipe and Slipper in Keswick.

OUTSCHOORN, Darrel Anthony - Died peacefully in Ottawa, Ontario, on Monday, October 5, 2020, at the age of 62.
Darrel is survived by his daughter Jennifer, his mother, Bridget, his sisters Shirlene (Paul) and Linda, his brothers David (Vivian) and Len (Barbara) and each of their respective families.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Outschoorn.
Darrel was born on February 12, 1958 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to Bridget and Joseph Outschoorn.
He graduated from Oakwood Collegiate in Toronto, where he excelled as a star basketball player. Darrel worked as an IT Specialist with Revenue Canada in Ottawa.

McDONALD, Michael John Patrick - It is with tremendous sadness that the McDonald family announces the passing of Michael John Patrick McDonald. He left the world peacefully surrounded by his six daughters on October 4, 2020, at the age of 85.
Michael was the third born son of Helen McDonald (McGee) and Gerald McDonald. He graduated from St. Michael’s College School and entered Osgoode Hall Law School. Michael was called to the bar in 1963.
He met Loretta (Healey) at university. They married in 1962 and started their family. Michael and Loretta enjoyed many happy years together and their daughters were blessed to have two such fine people as parents.
Michael retired in 2016 having practised law for a remarkable 53 years. He was not only a dedicated lawyer with a loyal clientele but also a passionate public servant.
