Markey DanMARKEY, Daniel 'Dan' Bernard - November 25, 1934 - March 20, 2019 - After courageously battling medical adversity for several months, Dan slipped away peacefully on Wednesday March 20, 2019.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Robin, their children Daniel, Ryan, April (Jay), and Noël, as well as his much-loved and adoring grandchildren Benny and Scarlett.

A tireless champion of hard work and persistence, Dan was the embodiment of the old Celtic adage to 'always keep your eye on the doughnut and not the hole'. And his 'why not', rather than 'what if', approach to life will be an enduring inspiration.

Infused with genuine Irish charm, an ever-ready smile and never-failing concern for others, Dan was a blessing to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, mostly from the Sudbury area. 

COWIE, Robert Bruce  -  It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Bruce Cowie announces his passing on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the age of 61.

Aiello RosaAIELLO, Rosa - On March 20, 2019, Rosa, wife, mother, daughter, and aunt passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 55.

Rosa will be forever remembered by her husband Eddie and their precious children Stephanie (Joshua), Samantha (Marco) and Melissa, by her mother Giuditta, father-in-law Francesco and by her siblings Sandra(Frank), Caroline, Luigi (Denise), Julie(Sandy), Lisa(Enzo), Carlo (Jill).

Rosa will also be forever remembered by her many nephews, nieces, extended family and dear friends.

She will reunite with her father Luigi, mother-in-law Rita, brother Armando and other dearly missed family and friends.

Simonetta SamSIMONETTA, Sam Alfredo - Passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, on March 20, 2019 at the age of 63.

Beloved son of Giuseppe Simonetta (Maria).

Rejoined in heaven with his mother, Maria, and siblings Emilio and Filomena.

Loving brother to Rosario “Roy” (Lora), Tony (Jerran), Ralph (Domenica), Anna (Maurizio), and Lisa and sister in law Liliana.

Left to mourn is his partner, Rose, and his children Maria (Philip), Joey (Michelle), Mary (Stephan), Patricia,  and Tasha.

Chahley DeeCHAHLEY, Diva 'Dee' Doreen - In the evening of Wednesday March 20, 2019, Dee passed away peacefully, listening to her favourite music and surrounded by her family. 

Dee’s life began on September 8, 1938 in Coleman, Alberta when she was born to Anthony and Belinda DeCecco. She married the love of her life and soulmate Eugene Chahley in 1963 and they shared 56 beautiful years together. 

Together they created an abundant life filled with love of family, good food, and good music. Their love for each other formed the bedrock of Stephen, Tonia, Jason, and Bailey’s lives.

Dee was a fiercely loving and devoted mother, friend, and confidante to her children Stephen and Tonia, and made a warm and accepting home where all of the kids in the neighbourhood were fed and welcomed. She made her children’s interests her own, whether it was hosting band practices in the basement or learning how to braid a horse’s tail for horse shows.

Kerr LyndaKERR, Lynda - Passed away at Michael Garron Hospital on March 20, 2019.  

She was born on April 12th, 1947 to Walter and Eileen Shaw. She had an older sister, Carolyn, and a younger brother followed named Steven. She lived in Toronto her entire life and loved her city.

She met a handsome fellow named John Kerr at his brother/her cousin’s wedding in 1968 and they fell in love, marrying on October 3rd, 1970. First came a few pets, then a son Ian, and a daughter Erin.

Lynda worked at CP Rail for many years until she gave it up to address her health issues. With John by her side she was able to put up a good fight and got the care she needed.  

Lynda was so friendly, she would say hello to everyone and make sure to send a compliment your way. She loved animals, and often spoke of a pet heaven for her special friends. She loved antiques, collecting them with passion.

Henry WilliamHENRY, William (Bill) James  -

It is with great sadness that the family of William James Henry announces his passing on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019. William was the eldest son of Robert W. and Beverley A. Henry. William James Henry was named after his paternal great grandfather.

STANAVECH, Florence Mildred (Ray)  -  She passed away peacefully on Wed, March 20th in her 90th year.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 yrs. William (Bill) her children David, (Diane) Nancy (David) Sandra (Allan) Neil (Teresa).

DUCK, George Arthur  - On Wednesday, March 20, 2019, Art 'the cowboy' Duck passed away at age 79.

Left to mourn are his beloved wife Ruth Templeton, six children, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
