His love story was a testament to true devotion, as he adored his beautiful wife, Katharine (nee Worfolk).

The daughter of Amelia Brownstein and Norman Loeb, Judi was born in Ottawa in 1943.
She is survived by her loving husband, Marshall "Mickey" Cohen; and her chil dren, Richard and Elise Cohen, Jessica Cohen and Mark Ruan, Jill and Danny Morris, Jennifer and Ken Tanenbaum, Amanda Cohen and Grady Hendrix.

EBATA, Yoriko - With great sadness we announce the passing of Yoriko Ebata on January 15, 2024, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Born June 14, 1933, in Kobe, Japan, to Yoshio and Sumiko (Mary) Sugiura; older sister to Go Sugiura (Union City, CA) and Asako Ayabe (Osaka, Japan); and dearly beloved mother to Naomi and Michi.
An incredibly strong woman, Yoriko was a fighter who overcame many challenges in her life.
She arrived in Toronto in 1966 with her husband and young daughter with no knowledge of the language and culture.

CANTLIE, George Stephen Douglas Cantlie - George died in his home on January 14, 2024, at the age of 87.
Born on March 6, 1936, he was fascinated by the natural world as a child, and dreamed of becoming a forest ranger.
His interest in biology led instead to a career in medicine, and he specialized in the treatment of cancer at a time when great advancements were happening in the field.
George was an avid reader, so he always kept up to date on the research, which made him an excellent clinician.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kathleen Roberts, who peacefully, left this world on Saturday, January 13th, at the age of 95.
Kathleen has now been joyfully reunited with her late husband of more than 70 years, Edward Roberts; as well as her siblings.
Kathleen's legacy lives on through her surviving family including: her daughter, Paula, granddaughter, Caitlin (grandson-in-law, Salar, and great-grandchild, Kian); and grandson, Ryan.
