O'NEIL, Gary Wilson - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Gary Wilson O'Neil on January 1, 2022 at his home in Toronto.
Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Doherty) for 48 years.
Devoted brother to Judy and predeceased by his mother Velma Neitz, father Joseph O'Neil and stepfather Fred Neitz.
Born in the Gaspe, Quebec in 1944, graduate of Malvern Collegiate, Gary worked for the City of Toronto Works Department for 35 years.
Gary will be missed by all, including Sharon's cousins, Betty, Janice and Maureen.

TAPPER, Gertrude Irene (nee JONES) - A long life was well lived by Gertrude Irene Tapper (nee Jones) of Scarborough, Ontario.
She passed away peacefully on January 1, 2022, at Woodhaven Long Term Care in Markham.
She was 93 years old.
Gertrude was predeceased by her parents William and Bertha Jones, and her husband of 68 ½ years, Albert Edgar Tapper. Gertrude is survived by her three daughters: Marianne Rose, Margaret (George) Williams and Marilynne (Andrew) Gordon.
Her legacy also includes seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Many thanks are extended to the staff and friends at Adelaide Place in Lindsay. Gert and Ab lived there for almost four years.

Loving wife of Edward H. (Ted) Gittings, in their 70th year of marriage. Predeceased by her dear son Greg (2013) and brothers Robert (2015) and Allan (1993).
Survived by her husband Ted, her children Linda (Mel Parrott 2021) of Prescott, Janice (Phil Lewin) of Glen Williams, David (Susan) of Oakville, Sandra (Bob Keane) of Mississauga, sister-in-law Judy Gittings of St. Catharines and best friend and sister Ilene Clayton of Alliston.
Joyce embraced eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Grandma Joyce will always hold a special and dear spot in their hearts.

MAZUR, Sister Mary Andrea (Helen) Mazur - 96, peacefully went home to her God on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the Westbury Long Term Care Centre in Etobicoke.
Sister Mary Andrea was one of the first Canadians who entered the Felician Sisters Community.
During her 79 years of religious life, she served in various apostolates as an elementary school teacher and principal, high school teacher and vice principal.

GAIGER, Delphine Mar (Dell) - November 6, 1926 - December 31, 2021
Dell passed away peacefully in her 96th year and in her home of 66 years with family by her side.
Dell is predeceased by her adoring husband and high school sweetheart, Arthur George Gaiger, her parents, Howard Phillips and May Knowelden and her three siblings, Mary, Nell and Alfred.
Dell is survived by her loving daughters, Janet Adamson (Dennis) and Sue Hamilton, her beloved grandson Kevin Adamson (Kim) and her sister Bette Buckner (Ron).
Dell will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and the Buckner, Thompson, Kitching and Gaiger families.

He was born in Panama where he grew up with his family in the city of David.

WRIGHT, Constance (Connie) Lorraine - On December 31, 2021, Connie passed away at the age of 89 years and 10 months, after a full and happy life.
She was a loving, caring and generous person with a determined streak and a good sense of humour.
Later in life she lived by the motto…get up, dress up and show up. Connie was always interested in the people and world around her and enjoyed many social activities.

ANDERSON, Gary - It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gary Anderson at the age of 89 on December 31, 2021.
He passed peacefully in his sleep at home in Mississauga.
Beloved husband and best friend of Carole and loving father of Craig (Brenda), Kyle (Nancy) and Krista (Jason).
He will be greatly missed by his seven grandchildren, Taylor, Stephanie, Matthew, Ryan, Curtis, Andy and Spencer. Gary was born and raised in Gananoque, Ontario.
It was here where he found his lifelong passion for flying. He began his career with Trans Canada Airlines and would continue with Air Canada until his retirement with 40 years of service.

LANE, William Olafur - 1951-2021 William (Bill) Lane, creator of innovative Canadian theatre and radio, died on December 30, 2021.
He was particularly acclaimed for his work as artistic director of Toronto Free Theatre and as an executive producer of CBC's Vanishing Point and Saturday Stereo Theatre.

LEACH, Michael Paul - A great man, husband, father, grandad and partner has departed.
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael (Mike) Leach announces his passing on December 30, 2021, after fighting a heroic battle with cancer.
Mike grew up in the west end of Toronto, attended Runnymede Collegiate and worked in various management roles for more than 35 years for Kodak Canada, until his retirement in 2003.
Mike was an avid golf player who could be seen on the golf course on any good day here and in Florida in the winters.
Mike was predeceased by his wife, Hazel (nee Alford), wife of more then 40 years.
