Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital, at the age of 55.

Beloved husband of Susan. Proud Dad of Dan, Erik and Michelle.

Cherished son of Ursula and Leon Krotki.

He will be missed by his sister Christina Krotki and his brother Chuck Krotki.

Taylor WilliamTAYLOR, William Edward (Bill)  - March 14, 1922 – December 5, 2017

Passed away peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Valerie (1999). Loving father of Donald (Lois) and dear grandfather of Jonathan (Carolyn) and Matthew.

Bill served his country during WWII in the Royal Canadian Navy. He was the proprietor of Taylor's Meat Market on Dundas St. in Etobicoke from 1946 to 1965.

He was Chief of Security for the former The Ontario Jockey Club, Standardbred Division during the 1970s and 80s.


WARD, Shirley Lillian  - Passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, in her 92nd year.

She was a resident of Shepherd Lodge in Scarborough, where she enjoyed superlative care for some five years.


SIMPSON, Patricia Ann (nee Deane)  - Peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of the late John "Ian" Simpson.

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Peter Daniels at his home in Toronto on December 5, 2017, at the age of 66.


Scott ThomasSCOTT, Thomas S.  - 1935 - 2017  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas "Tom" Scott on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the age of 82.

Tom was a beloved husband of Betty for 59 years, who he spotted so many years ago across a dance floor and of whom he adored with all his heart.

Born in Dundee, Scotland, he was a true Scot who loved his golf - one of the most difficult things to give up due to Parkinson's but he faithfully watched and enjoyed every tournament that aired on TV.


CHALLIS, Derek W.J.  - Passed away peacefully on December 5, 2017 at Mackenzie Health Hospital, Richmond Hill, at the age of 83 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beryl, children Debbie, Janine, Steven (Nora) and Andrew (Meity), six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

He will be forever loved and missed.



MacGregor GordonMACGREGOR, Gordon William Kirk  - 71, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away suddenly in Toronto from a heart attack on December 5, 2017.

He was born in Toronto November 8, 1946 to Keith and Josephine (Ley) MacGregor.

His father (B.Gen Retired) served in the Canadian Army (PPCLI) and the family moved extensively during his school years, including stays in several provinces of Canada and overseas in England.

Frank Davies, loving and caring husband to Barb Davies (nee Cruttenden) of Sutton.

Father of Debbie Wright (the late David), Doug (Lisa), Donny and the late Dale.


Alajajian ArmenakALAJAJIAN, Armenak  - One of the most famous European basketball players of all time passed away at Scarborough General Hospital on December 4, 2017.

Armenak Alajajian was four-time European champion, winner of the European Championship Cup both as a player and as a coach, Silver Medalist of the 18th Olympic Games in Tokyo (1964), eight-time Champion of USSR, Honourary Master of Sport of the USSR and Honourary Coach of Russia.

As a world-renowned player and coach, he brought many innovations to the game.

He was a star virtuoso playmaker of his time. Mr. Alajajian was honoured for his outstanding philanthropy in support of Armenian and Canadian causes.


FREDERICKS, Gerald  -  It saddens me to announce the untimely death of our beloved brother Gerald Fredericks.

Gerry died of natural causes in Miami and will be interred in Puerto Rico.


HASKETT, Eleanor  - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the age of 91.
