TRECROCE, Dolores - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dolores Trecroce on December 1, 2021 at Sunrise of Oakville.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Renato (1994) and treasured son, Aldo (1994).
She will be eternally missed by her children Riccardo (Marie-Suzanne), Lisa Ratcliffe (Robert) and Marco (Nicole) and grandchildren Michael (Cyma), Lorraine (Charles), Anthony, Justin, David, Sara, Lauren, Renee and Eric.
Dolores was the proud Nonni of great-grandchildren Avery, Reese and Theodore (Teddy).
She will be deeply missed by her sister Laura MacMartin (Don) of Montreal and their family, including her nephews Andrew (Tracy) and David and niece Tamra (Jason).
The matriarch of her family, she loved them all without reserve.

DURNAN, Marjorie Grace - It is with deep sadness that we announce Marj's passing at the good age of 90 at Birchmount Hospital on December 1, 2021.
Predeceased by brother Grant during the Second World War, sister Barbara and survived by brother Ross of Etobicoke.
Marjorie was born, raised and lived a full and happy life in Toronto.
Her years as receptionist at Knox College were an especially happy time for her and she touched the lives of many students, some of whom kept in touch with her after her retirement.
Marj loved, followed, and served Jesus and was transformed by that relationship throughout her life.

RAPOSO, Joana - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving sister Joana on November 30, 2021 after a year-long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her siblings Dolores, John (Luisa), Fatima, and Tony, and her cherished nieces Amy (Derek), Sarah, and Lynn.
She is now rejoicing with the choir of angels in heaven with her parents Joao and Maria Espirito Santo. She will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

On November 30, 2021, at 92 years of age Charles Gordon Thorpe peacefully passed away at home with members of his family by his side.
He was predeceased by his first wife Barbara, (mother of his children Ken (Carol), Robert (Bonnie), Susan (Craig) and David (Lynn)), father (Manser), mother (Madeline), brother (Walter), great-grandson (Oliver) and he is survived by his wife Alma, sister Mary (Rene), 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well other members of the extended family.
Charles had a long continuous career with Goodyear Canada Inc.

Husband and best friend of Flo (the bride) of 67 years.

Pete will be missed by our Danny and Ann Whitehead.
This close relationship goes back many special years.

ORSZULIK, Eryk Ambrozy - Eryk, aged 95, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
Loving husband for 68 years to Mary (May), father to Derek (Marilyn) and Robert (Lynne), grandfather to Ryan (Joanne), Shannon, and Megan.
Eryk was born in Poland. During WWII, he served in the 1st Armoured Division under General Maczak, was injured during the liberation of Breda, Holland, and then lived in Birmingham.
He met his future wife, May, in Ireland.
He immigrated to Canada in 1951, convinced May to join him, and they were married in Toronto, on September 5, 1953.

MATSUBAYASHI, Mickey C. - Passed away from a brief illness, at the age of 91, November 30, 2021.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 26 years, Ethel (nee Tateishi, 1937-1986).
Cherished father of Barry, Brenda and Bonnie. Dear grandpa of Trevor, Megan, Dana and Jasmine, and great-grandpa to Colby (Dana). Predeceased by his sisters Yorko (Matsuo) and Nobuko (Okada).
Mickey is fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and family friends for his eternal positivity, hilarious sense of humor and ability to tell a great story.
Mickey was born and raised in British Columbia, spending his early years with his family in the Japanese Canadian internment camps during World War II.

GREENE, Peter Richard - July 11, 1951 - November 30, 2021
After a life well lived, Peter died in the presence of his beloved wife, Karen and children, Leslie, Jennifer, Olivia and Christophe at St. Michael's Hospital.
Son of Joe Greene and Corinne Bedore, Peter embarked on many adventures, as we all did being young.
Teenage Pete worked in the Arctic to pay for his studies in History and Law at Dalhousie University where he met his then-partner with whom he later welcomed Leslie (Lee) and Jennifer (Ethan) home.
After moving to Toronto in 1979, Peter quickly became a partner at Fasken, and soon after co-founded law firm Kelly Affleck Greene, which he continued to manage until 2019.

PARKINSON, Connie Conchita - "Connie" Ladion Parkinson, age 93, a resident of Cedarcroft Place Retirement Home, Stratford, passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on November 30, 2021.
Born in Cebu City, Philippines, daughter of the late Conrado and Carmen (Yap) Ladion, Connie worked as a nurse instructor in the Philippines before coming to Canada in 1966 where she continued her career in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.
Beloved wife of John Parkinson. Mother of Walter Aranton (Seda), Velma Hansford (Peter), and Angeline Malmo (Bill).
Stepmother to David.

Loving husband of May (nee Jones).
Brother of Jewel Bockus and the late Norm Roberts.
Father of Sharon Joudrey (Jamie Magill), Donna McFadden (Dave), Gail Youden (Ivan); and he was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Dad will be remembered for his love of life, especially his love for May, his family, and friends who he held close in his heart, as we will always hold him in ours.

MOFFITT, Mary 'Eileen' (nee Flanagan) - (1932 - 2021) - Mary Eileen Moffitt (nee Flanagan) passed peacefully at the Wynfield Long Term Care Residence in Oshawa, Ontario on November 29th, 2021.
Loving mother of Bryan (Lydia), Sean (Colleen), and Karen (Brett Carlos). Cherished grandmother of Scott, Bradley, Kiera, Regan, Siobhan, Ronan, Riley, and Iain.
Born in London, England on August 3rd, 1932, much of her childhood was spent enduring the hardships of WWII, including the loss of her father at the end of the war. In 1950 at the age of 18, Eileen boarded a ship bound for Canada in search of adventure and new opportunities. Eileen’s mother (Mary Flanagan d. 1998), brother (Bernard Flanagan d. 1995) and extended family later joined her in setting roots in Toronto, Ontario where she eventually met her loving husband of 52 years, Harry Moffitt (d. 2015).

NIGHTINGALE, Marilyn Elizabeth (Wilkie) - On Monday November 29th, 2021, suddenly at the age of 80 years old. She was seated in her favourite chair, beside her Christmas tree, in the home she loved.
Mother to Cindy (Paul) and Brad (Josee). Grandmother to Cameron, Alexander, Brittany (James), Connor (Brittney) and Madison. Great-Grandmother to Charlotte, Jack, Weston and Raelynn.
Our Mom loved her children and her grandchildren fiercely and proudly. She was a strong and capable person who weathered the tragedy of our father Larry’s terrible illness and early death with poise and reserve. She protected us, and provided us with the stability we needed as children to lead happy and healthy adult lives.

COUCILL, James Albert 'Jim' - James is a man who was loved, is missed and will always be cherished.
James Albert Coucill, born in Scarborough passed away at the age of 82 on November 29, 2021, at Yee Hong Hospice.
Jim worked very hard at Lily Cups starting a the age of 16. He worked his way up to supervisor during his 33 years.
Loved ones who will miss Jim are his two daughters, Catherine Coucill, Karen Johnson, his son-in-law Dean Johnson, his four grandchildren Amanda and Michael Abou-Heif, Ashley Littleford, Norm Darrach, his four great grandchildren, his brother Garnet Coucill and his sister Colleen Shinkewski. Jim also leaves behind a loving life mate, Connie Boyer.

DURDEVIC, Radoslav 'Rudy' - Passed away peacefully on November 29, 2021 at the age of 82, at home with his beloved wife by his side.
Cherished husband of Dusomirka “Diana” for 58 wonderful years. Loving and devoted father of Dan and David (Cathy). Adored and proud grandfather of Isadora, Michael and Amanda.
Rudy was born in Serbia to parents Bogomir and Zlata. He grew up with brother Radovan. He married the love of his life Dusomirka in Belgrade.
When their first son Dan was six years old they started a new chapter of their life in Canada. Brother David was born two years later. The family created a successful steel business together.

FRASER, Archibald 'Archie' Thomas - Archie Fraser passed away on November 29th, 2021, at the age of 88 years old.
He will be missed by his children, John. A., Edward M., and Kathleen Barrett, as well as his 6 grandchildren. Archie is predeceased by his son, Douglas A.
Archie served for 32 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Captain. He was a longtime resident of New Toronto, and was well known by locals for his frequent long walks down Lake Shore Blvd in Etobicoke.

In his 78th year, peacefully at home, Ken went to be with the Lord with family by his side.
Son of the late Joseph Stanley and Hilda Madge Gittins, Ken is survived by his wife, Maria (nee Brus), daughters Caroline Beemer (Bradley) and their children Kimberly, Alex and Kayla (Dan) and Alison Hughes (Peter) and his grandchild Peter Kenneth.

BENAYON, Sol Sonia (nee Benhaim) - It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our matriarch, Sol Sonia Benayon (nee Benhaim) on November 29, 2021, the second day of Chanukah.
Sonia was the epitome of an Eshet Chayil who devoted every waking moment of her adult life to caring for the needs of her immediate and extended family.
She was a loving wife of 44 years to her husband Joseph, a devoted mother and mother-in-law to Sandy and Arieh, and a proud and adoring grandmother to Michal and Eliana. She was a treasured daughter to the late Messody and Shlomo. She was a beloved sister and sister-in-law to Lilianne and the late Joe Roth, to Hilda and the late Rino Fabruzzo, and to Lucie and the late Marc Benhaim.
