Barbara was predeceased by her parents Martha and George Black.

Oliveira Soares AngelinaOLIVEIRA SOARES, Angelina Vidal  - Early Thursday morning, in her 94th year, Angelina slipped away, leaving us with heavy hearts and lives made richer because of her.

A wife, mother, Avó, Bisavó, Trisavó, Tia and proud daughter of the Azores, she will be missed each day by her son Manuel and his wife Elizabeth.

A lover of home, family, children, socializing (past Treasurer and Secretary of the local Portuguese Seniors club), the yarn arts and laughter; she was also a woman of enormous strength, strong opinions and boundless caring.

ROORK, Martha V.  - Peacefully, at home, on July 26, 2018, with her family by her side.

Beloved wife of the late William A. Roork.

Hunt MargoHUNT, Margo Elizabeth   - Passed away peacefully on July 26th in her 83rd year.

Predeceased by: father, Walter Edward Duncan Hunt; mother, Marjorie May (nee Sedore); and sister, Pauline Anne Waters.

Fondly remembered by niece Alison Margo Waters and nephew Alan Jay Waters.

Sadly missed by close friends Anna Theobald and Caroline Leslie.

Margo had a distinguished 35 year career with the United States Consulate in Toronto.

Kirk HelenKIRK, Helen Isabella (Richmond)   - Passed away after a brief illness on July 26, 2018.

Predeceased by her husband Bill and grandson Christopher.

Loving mother to Elaine, Linda, Gary and Ian (Tracey).

Adored grandmother of Aaron and Aoife.

Sobie JosephSOBIE, Joseph  - Peacefully, in his favourite chair with his favourite person beside him, Joseph Sobie passed away on the evening of Thursday, July 26, 2018, at home in Oakville, Ontario.

Joe was born August 15, 1934 in Vita, Manitoba.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Gerry, his children, Michael, Paul, Joanna (David Fonseca) and Karen (Jim Hilbert), his grandchildren, Hannah Sobie and Matthew Fonseca and his sister, Diane (Jerry Welchinski). His parents and his sister, Olga Kuehn, predeceased him.

Joe and Gerry particularly enjoyed their time every March on Sanibel Island and later, Siesta Key, Florida. Their long-time home in Lorne Park was a great source of comfort and pride for the entire family.

Burgess RoseBURGESS, Rose Marie  - June 11, 1928 – July 26, 2018

It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Rose Marie Burgess at the age of ninety.

She passed peacefully on July 26, 2018 in hospital having valiantly fought against many maladies.

Rose is survived by her husband Jack, her daughters Janis (Michael), Susan (Don) and son Peter (Robin).

BELL, William "Bill" Russell  - January 13, 1938 - July 26, 2018

After a long illness, at Ross Memorial Hospital.

Survived by his sisters Helen Patterson, Mae Philpott and brother Frank, sisters-in-law Norma and Doreen, his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

WINTER, Ralph  - Died July 26, 2018 in Cambridge.

Born on July 26, 1957 in Toronto, Ralph was an honourable businessman, a passionate artist, a dedicated father and a loving husband.

RAWLINS, Kenneth James   - Colonel Kenneth J. Rawlins, 102, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018.

Kenneth Rawlins, the son of Salvation Army Officers from Scotland, was commissioned as a Salvation Army Officer in Canada in 1939.

After Corps appointments, he was transferred to The Salvation Army War Services work in 1940 and served for six years in Canada, England and Germany, attached to the Royal Canadian Air Force.

LEWIS, Mildred Myrle  - 1921 - 2018  Mother passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 26, 2018 after a full and rewarding life, at the age of 97.

She was predeceased by her husband Walter Lewis, her daughter Susan E. McDonald (Ken), her siblings Kathleen Brennan, Lillian Woon, Edward Lawson and her beloved mother Mable Lawson who passed at 106.

Antler EricaANTLER, Erica "Rickey" (nee HELLER)  - Died peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in the company of her daughter, Susan, and one of her dedicated caregivers.

Rickey was preceded by her wonderful husband and devoted companion of 64.8 years, Earl.

Since Earl's passing almost two years ago, Susan and a team of committed caregivers looked after Rickey, enabling her to live out her life with dignity at home, on her terms.

Born in Schweina, Germany, at three years of age, she and her mother, Augusta, followed her father, Oscar, to Canada, eventually establishing their home in Toronto.
