Jeff passed away at home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
He was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Kay Sayers.
He is survived by his daughter Shayna Sayers- Wolfe, his brothers Ray and Steve, his sister Susan and her husband Jack Hoogstraten, nephew Paul Hoogstraten and his wife Alexandra Gatza, niece Laura Hoogstraten and her partner Matt Koelma.

KOWALCHUK, Paul - April 14, 1935 – November 10, 2021
We are deeply heartbroken to announce the passing of Paul Kowalchuk on November 10, 2021.
After many years of battling multiple illnesses, he has passed peacefully in his sleep. Paul only recently was predeceased by his wife Mary Louise Kowalchuk and his son Steven Kowalchuk.
He will be remembered with love by his sister Mary Szypka; his children Michael, Diana and Paula Kowalchuk; his grandchildren Danielle Kowalchuk, Stephanie Schmidt, Nicolas Fera, Joseph Kowalchuk Humenyk, and Paul Kowalchuk Humenyk; as well as his great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Walter Schmidt; and all of his many nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.

CLYDESDALE, Robert Shepherd - It is not about the profound sadness we feel when we announce the passing of our dad Robert Shepherd Clydesdale on November 10, 2021 at 93 years, but instead a blissful feeling of peace and wonder born in elysian fields where a life lived to its fullest, like a shooting star shines brightly, briefly and then disappears into eternity forever, remembered by those lucky enough to witness its infinite truth and beauty.
Robert, or "Bob" as he was known to all, passed away peacefully at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

At the age of 79, passed away at 8:16 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10th.
Predeceased by her parents Magdalene (June 1977) and Fred (June 1990), brother Roy (February 2008) and sister Rosalia (September 2021).
She is dearly missed by brothers Wally (wife Ingrid) and Bob, nephew Bob Leshchyshen (wife Myroslava), their children Oleh, Orest (wife Lindsay) and Olena, nephew Dmytro Leshchyshen (wife Luba) and their son Matei (wife Christina) and by relatives in Western Canada.

BRACKETT, Bruce Brackett - Bruce Brackett, 82, a long-time resident of Leslieville passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 9, 2021, at Sunnybrook Hospital at the age of 82.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 59 years, Terry, daughter Andrea (Bill) McAnally, son Derek, foster daughter-in-law Gail Beglin; and will be missed by granddaughter Rachel, grandsons Joshua, Tyler, Connor, Wolf, and foster grandson Corey.
Predeceased by his son David and foster son Brendan.
Bruce was also a beloved brother, cool uncle, and the clown of the party for many friends.
When Bruce was 4 years old, his family moved to Curzon Street where years later he met his true love, Terry (Wice) and they married in 1962.

MULHOLLAND, Phyllis - 1936 – 2021 It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Phyllis Jean Mulholland on November 9, 2021, at the age of 85.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Susan; daughter of her heart, Kym; son-in-law, Rick; grandsons, Thomas and John; and her many friends from Navy League.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas; son, Mark Douglas; daughter, Sherry; and her parents, Ken and Violet.
She devoted a large part of her life to the Navy League of Canada Ontario Division.
In her many years of service to the cadet movement, she inspired and influenced many people young and old and will long be remembered by them.

Annette was born to Robert and Annie Scott on December 12, 1936 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Beloved wife of the late Sylvester McGinty. Cherished Mother to James McGinty(Dine), Annette Forrester(Sid), Catherine McGinty, predeceased by her beloved daughters Sandra McGinty and Marie McGinty.
She was a devoted and loving grandmother to Nicole Sousa, Natalie Sousa(Alton), Bonnie McGinty(Ashraf), Heather McGinty(Jon), Shannon McGinty(Kris), John McGinty.

SAKSONS, Juris (George) - March 10, 1948 - November 9, 2021
It is with great sadness that we advise of the peaceful passing of Juris Saksons.
This was unexpected and he was in good spirits with his caregivers until he passed in the early morning hours of Tuesday. George is survived by brother Imants (Elaine, Lisa and Brad) and widowed sister-in-law Dale (Chris and Shelley).
He will be interred with parents Valdis and Anna Saksons at York Cemetery.
Juris faced the "challenges" he had with faith and humour. He was a favourite client of March of Dimes caregivers for 30 years. He never complained and greeted all who came to help him with a big smile.

LORUSSO, Carol - On November 9, 2021 God called Carol home.
She will forever be missed by her husband Fred, children Paul (Deanna) and Jennie (Alex), as well as her seven adoring grandchildren Gabriel, Noah, Massimo, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Lorenzo and Abbygail, and her sisters Lisa, Toni, and Ema.
She is now reunited in heaven with parents Michele and Luigina, her sister Mara and brother Antonio.
Carol lived a life devoted to her family and to the Lord.
Carol's strong faith in the Lord held strong throughout her fight with Covid.
Carol was born in San Severo, Foggia and came to Canada as a 10-year-old girl. She embraced Canada for all its values although she never fully embraced the cold weather and winter driving.

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, that we, the Arcangeli Family, wish to announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Anne Arcangeli (nee Morris), at home in Beaverton, Ontario.
She will be missed dearly by Ron, her loving husband of 63 years.
Betty is forever in the hearts of her children, Laura (Bill), Peter (Shanon), and Brenda (Dave).
She had eight grandchildren and one great-grandson, whom she loved deeply: Rowland (Afi), Marty, Shane, Mia, Olivia, Jake, Garrett, Robyn and Ayden. Betty was born in New Glasgow, NS, and was a proud Nova Scotian.
She was predeceased by her parents Rowland and Margurite Morris, her siblings Richie, Peanie, and Gibby.

SMILEY, David - Our dear friend and neighbour David Smiley passed away on November 8, 2021.
Our sorrow is with his wife Ellen Vera Allen, son Eric, sisters Linda and Donna, and the Toronto Island and Ottawa Round Lake communities he shared his life and generosity with. David loved to dance.
And although he had little rhythm, he danced to the sparkle of possibilities; the possibility of advancing social justice and building stronger communities.
As a photographer, David documented the long march of the women's movement, the struggle to build stronger unions, the dangers of Litton Industries cruise missile manufacturing, and the disruption the Billy Bishop airport make to Island and city life.
David also helped form the Toronto Island and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations Friendship Group.

WARD, Geogina (nee MONAGHAN) - It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Georgina Ward (nee Monaghan), of Scarborough, on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the age of 92.
Georgina was born in Glasgow, Scotland on June 11, 1929.
She will be forever loved and missed by her husband Joseph Ward of 66 years.
Cherished mother to Teresa Ward (Dan), and adored grandmother to Danielle Weaver of Toronto.

STOCKTON, Vernon Donald - It is with great sadness that the family of Vernon Stockton announce his sudden passing on November 8, 2021, at the age of 91.
He is survived by Bertha, his best friend and wife of nearly 67 years, his special daughter, Allison and her husband, John, by his beloved granddaughter, Alana and her partner, Johnathan, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Vernon was destined to work in the lumber business until he was called to a job interview at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Sussex, NB in 1949.
He worked for the bank for 41 years at branches throughout New Brunswick and Ontario.
Vernon made many friends along the way from Hillsborough, NB, Moncton to Oshawa, London to Kapuskasing and 23 years in Toronto.

RALBOSKY, Joseph Peter (Butch) - It is with great sadness that the Ralbosky family announces the passing of Joseph Peter (Butch) Ralbosky, on Monday, November 8, 2021, at William Osler Hospital, at the age of 71.
Joe fought a courageous battle with ALS and died with dignity and grace with his family by his side.
