MACMILLAN, Ian Reid Anderson 'Mac' - Ian “Mac” Macmillan passed away in Scarborough, Ontario on October 19, 2021, at the age of 82.
Born and raised in Scotland, he emigrated to Canada in the late 1960s. He practiced law on both sides of the Atlantic and was a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada for many decades.
An avid sportsman, he was an accomplished rugby player, tennis player, and squash player. His passion for long distance running led to innumerable 10Ks and the odd marathon. He followed all the local teams and could be found frequently on weekend patios watching rugby, tennis or golf.

McKENNA, Arthur Joseph - (April 5, 1930 – October 19, 2021) - It is with sadness we announce the passing of Arthur McKenna in Mississauga on October 19, 2021.
Arthur was predeceased by his wife Jean. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his two children Arthur and Kim, his grandchildren Charly, Andrew, Christopher and Kelly. Arthur lived life to the fullest and embraced his family.
He was an entrepreneur and was quite successful with what he did. His claim to fame was his time spent in the gym with Muhammad Ali, being a retired firefighter, once a world champion dart player and inventing a world-renowned dart called the “Thoroughbred Dart."

Beloved daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. T.A. Packwood.
Eileen was a nurse with service in England, Montreal, and St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. She was a longtime parishioner and volunteer at St. Theodore of Canterbury Church.

GONSHOR, Chana (née Szlang) - (January 6, 1919 - October 19, 2021) -
Chana passed away peacefully, 3 months short of her 103rd birthday, after a full life lived with song, optimism, and a smile for everyone.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Israel “Ultche”. Her parents Shmuel and Freydl Pasternak, her sister Feygele and her entire family all perished in the Holocaust.
She was the beloved and very proud mother and mother-in-law of 3 sons, Abe and Annie (Young) and Shirley (Bomer z”l) , Aron and Anna (Fishman), and Sam and Judy (Posternak) of Toronto. Raizel (Fishman) Candib was like her own child to her.

BIGRAS, Paul David - Paul David Bigras was born April 5, 1942, to Emily (Kilcup) and Roland.
He and his brother, Peter, grew up in Outremont and attended Lower Canada College.
After Sir Georges Williams and McGill University and time working with his father and brother at Roland Bigras et Associés, he embarked on a 40-year career in sales and marketing.
Paul would often say that his life began when he met his bride, Donna.
He was smitten from the moment they met and, by all accounts, so was she.
After Donna, the greatest joy in Paul's life were his children, Kristin and Jill (Jamie), and being the proud Papa of Kristopher, Emily, Benjamin and Samantha.

KEATES, Thomas "Tom" Richard - Passed away unexpectedly in the morning on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
Dad was born in December of 1932 in the District of Wellington, Salop, England. Dad's parents, Ernest and Elise, passed away when he was young.
He was brought up by his older sister and brother, Kathy and John, (both predeceased) who he always mentioned with great warmth.
At 19, Dad joined the Royal Air Force where he trained for several years in Bridgenorth, England. Following training he was deployed to Malaya (Seletar and Taiping) in 656 Squadron.
It was in the RAF that he learned his trade as a mechanic and metal body worker.

STEWART, Alexander Duncan - It is with profound sadness that we announce the gentle passing of Alexander Duncan Stewart (Sandy/Stewie) at age 71 on October 19, 2021, in Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, after a long battle with kidney disease.
Sandy will be greatly missed by his wife of 34 years, Robin (nee Kearney), two sons Ryan and Reid, siblings John, Robert (Nancy), and Patti (Grant Heggie), sister-in-law Susan Kearney, brother-in-law David Kearney and nieces and nephews, Adam Wayne (Katie), Kate and Ali Pettersen, Matthew and Alex Stewart, Emma and Ben Stewart, and Caiti, Connor, and Madeline Heggie.
He was the son of the late Christine Marjory (nee Macdonald) and Edwin Warren Stewart, and was predeceased by his brother William.

MILLER, Michael Coogan - March 25, 1939 – October 19, 2021 - Michael passed away gently after facing his cancer with grace and strength.
He was surrounded by his family and was blessed to have had the loving support of many close friends and colleagues in his last days.
Thank you to all the staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Bridgepoint Sinai Health for their attention, care, and thoughtful treatment.
Michael is survived by his wife Margit (née Sorensen), their three children, Mila (Scott Thomson), Patrick, and Stephen (Jill Furnival), of whom he was so proud, and his three grandchildren, Waylon, Everett, and Eden, with whom he loved spending time.
