RICHARDSON, Donna Lee (Mastromatteo) - Passed away peacefully, at Malton Village Long Term Care Centre, on Saturday, September 25, 2021, two days before her 66th birthday.
Beloved wife of Ron Richardson. Cherished Mother of Julia (Fraser) and Carrie. Adored “Grammy” of Charlotte Van Schelven. Survived by her siblings, many dear cousins and extended family members, along with life-long friends who were like family.
We take great comfort knowing that she has been reunited with her parents Louis Mastromatteo and Theresa Mastromatteo-Grittani (Golansky).

IULIANETTI, Rosetta 'Rosy' - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rosetta (Rosy) Iulianetti, who passed away on September 25, 2021 at Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill, ON at the age of 62.
Taken from us too soon, she now joins her mother, Gina, and father, Pierino as well as, aunts and uncles in heaven.
She was loved and cherished by many, and leaves behind her brother Sabatino, his wife Pina, and niece Alexa, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who she all loved dearly.

TAYLOR, Brian Michael - Brian Michael Taylor passed away suddenly at the age of 66 at Etobicoke General Hospital on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Brian was born in Kitchener, Ontario in 1955, the oldest child of Dennis and Audrey Taylor, brother to Bruce (Linda) and Kevin, brother-in-law to Marion, cousin to Maureen (Gary, Connor, and Spencer) and cousin to Elise.
Brian met his wife Claudia in the mid-1970s, who knew the first time she met Brian that she wanted to marry him. They were married in 1977, and during their 40+ years of marriage they travelled throughout Europe, the Hawaiian islands, the Caribbean, Canada and the United States.

MARTIN, James - It is with profound sadness that the family of James Martin announces his passing on September 25, 2021 at the age of 81
James was born in Glasgow, Scotland on August 14, 1940. Son of the Late Thomas and Bridget Martin, loving husband to the Late Maria Martin whom he missed dearly. Beloved and cherished father to his daughter, Caroline (Aldo) and his sons Paul and Stephen. Adored Grandfather of Evelyn, Michael, Leah and Tristan.
From Scotland, James first arrived in the United States before traveling to Toronto, Canada where he could be with extended family and where he met his wife to be, Maria Louise McGraa, who had also immigrated from Scotland.

SCHONBERGER, Alexander - The Schonberger family is extremely saddened to announce that our esteemed patriarch, Alexander Schonberger, Holocaust Survivor (of blessed memory), peacefully passed away at Humber River Hospital on September 25, 2021, in his 93rd year.
Alexander, who was fondly referred to as “Zaida” or “Shanyi” was the centre of our world and was the ultimate Gentleman, Family Caregiver, and had the most Loving Character that deeply touched the lives of everyone whom he ever interacted with.
Alexander is now re-united with his beautiful wife Edith (of blessed memory) who predeceased him in 2011.

METCALFE, Ronald Earl - Ronald Earl Metcalfe passed away at the age of 86, on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Born on April 21, 1935 to Earl and Laila (Moore) Metcalfe, Ronald is preceeded in death by his wife of 45 years Carol Bargman.
Ron was the loving father of Ryan Metcalfe, Susan (Bob) Jewett, and Doug (Cathy) Metcalfe, and brother of Marilyn Smye.

FRASER, Catherine - Catherine Ann Fraser, born July 11, 1956, passed away Saturday, Sept 25, 2021, at Scarborough Grace Hospital, at the age of 65.
She is survived by brothers John and Rick, and their families.
Cathy's smile, warm heart, laughter and witty character always lit up the room and will surely be missed.

LEIBSON, David B. B.C.L., LL.B. TESL Certificate - David died peacefully at his Toronto home on September 25, 2021 with his loving wife, Phyllis Whyte at his side.
He will be missed by her, his brother Michael and his extended family of friends and relations.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mac and Ann Leibson (Blanshay).
Born and raised in Montreal, David studied law at McGill University, where he was a valued member of the "McGill Redmen" (now "McGill Redbirds") basketball team.
Whether on the rugby pitch, basketball court, doing Tai Chi, or canoeing rapids, David was physically active.
It was in Toronto that David met Phyllis, sparking decades of laughter, travel, photography, reading, camping, song writing and his artfully prepared meals for friends and family.

STOCKDALE, Howard Douglas - June 30, 1936 – September 25, 2021
Howard passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a short battle with cancer.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane, his daughters Linda and Laura, sisters-in-law Audrey Stockdale, Willa Fitzpatrick (George) and brothers-in-law Thor Karlson and Paul Seymour (Jennie).
Will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Jessica, Wes, Melissa and Carter, great-grandchild Chloe and many friends.
Predeceased by siblings Jean Karlson, Walter Stockdale and Mary Sandford. Howard's career at Kodak Canada spanned 35 years. After retirement, he was able to focus on his first loves; being a sportsman, and wood carving.

STEIN, Maria Rospond - ROSPOND Peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital on September 25, 2021 in her 97th year, after a remarkable life: the "Iron Lady".
Born to Rospond and Szponder, near Krakow, Poland, child prodigy, gifts of voice and intellect, robbed of youth by 5 years of slave labour and Resistance, 19 year-old ward of 110 war UNRRA camp orphans in Germany, penniless refugee to Canada without family, overcame discrimination and championed women's and human rights by example and true grit.
Recovered from abandonment by her husband: left alone, raising her children with help from her wartime friends and entering nursing at Sick Children's, winner of scholarships, University of Toronto Nursing grad then English Lit, pioneer ICU Head Nurse, researcher, and distinguished popular Ryerson Professor Emeritus of Nursing, in her seventies while selling lotto tickets was held up at gunpoint and Granny drove off the robber.

PEACOCK, Audrey Evelyn - March 25, 1932 - September 25, 2021
After a short stay in hospital, in her 90th year, she passed away comfortably in her sleep.
Everyone knew, Audrey loved her telephone.
She was the person who kept in touch with everyone.
She was the epicentre for all the information and she would pass it along appropriately.
She will be remembered by her sibling Jane.

Don was raised in Toronto by parents John (Jack) and Florence Morrison.
Attended Western Tech.
Don worked at Sears Canada Headquarters from 1953 to 1990 when he retired.

It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Isabel Anne Bailey on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband of 62 years, Arnold Tate Bailey; her daughters April Cooper and Lisanne (Danny) Gavigan; her grandsons, Timothy and Benjamin Cooper; her sister Joan Hird; and her nieces and nephews and many friends.
Anne attended Oakwood Collegiate and after Normal School became a Kindergarten teacher for 25 years teaching in Toronto/ Etobicoke at Givins, Dewson Street, Green Meadows and Valleyfield Public Schools.
She participated in Young Peoples Group and Doers at St. Clair United Church.

Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband William (Bill) Chadwick, her parents Jean and James Torrie, and her brother Fraser Torrie (Beverly).
Margaret lived a good life on her own terms, and was devoted to her family, friends and community. She was born in 1925 in Toronto, Ontario.
