BROWN, Lorraine Jean (nee UFFELMAN) - May 6, 1928 - September 9, 2021
Lorraine passed peacefully on September 9th at Credit Valley Hospital with family at her side.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Stuart, daughter Nancy, parents William and Minnie (Hagen) Uffelman, brother Sheldon, sister-in-law Doris, sister Marjorie (Merle) Day, and brother-in-law Bill Hood.
Lorraine is lovingly remembered by her remaining children Suzanne (Ed), Barbara, Bill (Shazrina), her grandchildren Aiden, Daniel, and Ryan, sister-in-law Anne Hood, nephews and nieces Ken, Stuart, Mary, and Doug Hood; Laurie, John and Craig Uffelman; Marla, Nancy, Barbara, Ralph and Janet Day.

NATALE, Paolo - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paolo Natale at age 92, born in Maierato, Vibo Valenzia, Italy.
He is now reunited in heaven with his loving daughter Pina and beloved wife Elisabetta, who recently passed on September 9, 2021.
Paolo was a strong willed man who had a clear vision on how he wanted to live his life and raise his family. With those attributes he left invaluable wisdom to his children Mary, Lia and Joe (Arianna) and his grandchildren, Stefano (Ally), Alessia, Paolo and Sofia.
We profoundly appreciate the legacy he left in all our hearts. He is predeceased by his loving siblings Filippo, Giuseppe, Nicola and Angelo.

SOKOL, Jerry - May 17, 1931 - September 9, 2021
It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jerry Sokol, surrounded by his family in Peterborough, Ontario.
Jerry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen.
Loving father to Sandra (Clarke, deceased) and Jerry Alexander (Angela), caring grandfather to Kimberly and Neil, and uncle to Richard, Michael and David.
Born in Montreal, he was raised in Windsor, Ontario.
He then moved to Toronto, where he enjoyed a 36 year career at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, primarily as a Technical Producer.

ROMANOV, Moya - Moya died peacefully at home, on August 9, 2021, with Bryan at her side.
Moya was predeceased by her parents John and Catherine Fitzgerald and her brothers, George (Jean), Bud and Patrick.
Moya is survived by her sister-in-law, Babs Fitzgerald along with nephews and nieces John (Elizabeth), Bob, Jan, Howard, David and her life partner of 44 years, Bryan Hill.
Moya was born in Toronto and attended Loretta Abbey Catholic Secondary School.
After graduation, the family moved to San Diego and lived in La Jolla, California for several years and then made their way up to Vancouver for several more.

John passed away peacefully, on Thursday, September 9, 2021, in Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 91.
Left to celebrate his life are his daughter Lynn Hallson (Richard), grandchildren Jennifer Hallson (Scott Gentile) and Kathleen Hallson (Jacob Bartlett), son Steve (Catherine Rumancik), as well as brother Ken, brother-in-law Eric Nieminen (Raymond), and several nieces and nephews.

MCQUARRIE, Allan - It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share the news of the sudden passing of Allan from non-Covid causes on September 9, 2021. He was in his 71st year.
Allan was my beloved husband (Brenda-nee Rowley) for 44 years.
Our son Angus and his wife Kate Kelly and our daughter Whitney and her husband Stephen Harrison, will miss him terribly, as will his 4 beloved grandchildren – Lachlan and Evander McQuarrie and Cameron and Eleanor Harrison.
He was the eldest of five siblings - Sharon (Mace - predeceased), Hugh, Ben and Karen (Whitford).

FARLINGER, Esther Ruth - RN., O. Ont., L.L.D. - September 15, 1934 – September 9, 2021
If there was an important job that needed doing, Esther was the go-to person throughout her almost 87 years.
Give her a challenge and she made it happen, whether it was raising money for a charity, chairing a board of directors, or organizing a group of 5,000 Canadians to travel to New York to support the city in the wake of 9/11 – an accomplishment that was acknowledged in a personal letter from President George W. Bush.
Her achievements over the years earned her the Order of Ontario, an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor (Assumption), the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and a Woman of the 21st. Century Award.

On September 9, 2021, Dave, beloved husband of Kaye Jackson, passed away at Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre in Cobourg, Ontario after a challenging and courageous battle with cancer.
Dave was predeceased by his parents Bill Secord and Isabel McCagg and will be missed by his siblings Frances Enns, Mary Lou Secord (Lynn Marie) and Hugh Secord (Lesly).
He is the brother-in-law of Roger Jackson (Linda) Bob Jackson (Lynette) and Martha Kress.
Dave's death is such a loss not only for his wife Kaye, but also for his family and many friends.
