LENNON, Jean (Lewis) - Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital, on August 31, 2021 at the age of 92.
Born in Spring Bay, on Manitoulin Island, Ontario to the late David and Grace (Buie) Lewis.
She moved to Toronto as a young woman, married and raised a family.
Hard working, both inside and outside of the family home, she balanced her life with travel to Ireland, bus trips within Canada and the USA, and was an enthusiastic supporter of her favourite Toronto baseball and hockey teams.

PACE, Mary Carolyn (Griffith) - Succumbed to the ravages of Scleroderma, ILD, and Pulmonary Hypertension on August 31, 2021. Endured with her customary equanimity.
Cherished wife of Clarence for over sixty-one years, loving mother of Munro, Andrew, Merala (spouse to Fiona), and Philip (husband to Chad), and Nana to three grandchildren, Tyler, Quinn (partner Julia), and baby Pace.
Mary’s life was influenced by an early exposure to the theatre world through her late parents E.N.T. and Helen Griffith of Stratford, who were significant supporters of the Stratford Festival. Their home was a welcoming refuge for the founding international personnel of the day.

CULLEN, Helen (nee CHAMBERLAIN) - It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mother Helen. Helen was a Retiree from The Toronto Star.
Helen was predeceased by her husband (Michael).
Survived by her son Willard (Wendy) and daughter Ann (Patrick), her grandchildren Melicia, Deanna, Kevin, Joshua, Emily, Matthew, Riley, great-grandchildren Jadah, Jamar, Jonathan.

ARMOUR, Eveleen Mary (Thomson) - Died peacefully at her home in Toronto on August 31, 2021.
Eveleen was very exuberant and could fill a room with her enthusiasm.
She always had very engaging topics to discuss. Eveleen was a lifelong learner. Her first degree was Interior Design from the Ontario College of Art, after which she practiced commercial interior design including working at Expo 67.
She was the proprietor of Antiques and Things at MacPherson and Yonge for many years, accompanied by her devoted yellow lab Brian.
Later, she pursued her interest in landscape design, and graduated from the University of Guelph in Landscape Architecture. She then received her Master’s degree in Environmental Design from York University.

DADDAR, Rajan - February 2, 1988 – August 31, 2021
With a very heavy heart and great sadness, our dear beloved son, Rajan Daddar passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep at the tender age of 33.
Son of Robin and Reena Daddar and wonderful brother to Sabrina Daddar.
Rajan will be dearly missed by his grandparents – Madan Lal and Shanti Devi Daddar (late), Bakhshi Singh and Smitri Devi Sehdev, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, family, friends and colleagues near and far.
Rajan was a kind soul, a humanitarian, a gentleman aka "The Gentle Giant".
He was multi-talented: musician, gourmet chef, coffee connoisseur, MMA fighter, entrepreneur, techie and programmer/web designer.

BEEBE, Gerald 'Gerry' Laverne - Peacefully at Amica, Georgetown, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
Gerry Beebe, in his 91st year, beloved husband of Jean (nee Ferguson), loving father of Grant and Charlene (John), cherished grandfather of Emilia, Ellen, Maevis, and Dawson.
Gerry was the eldest son of Dawson and Greta, of Morrish, Ontario. He is survived by his sister Enid, and his two brothers, Howard and Floyd.
Born in Port Hope, Gerry grew up on the family farm, and attended Port Hope High School. He excelled as a student and athlete, making his mark in both baseball and basketball. It was during his high school years that the travel bug bit Gerry.

LEE, Jean Elizabeth (née McIntosh) - Born March 24, 1936 died August 30, 2021.
Predeceased by her brother David and ex-husband John Alan Lee, loving mother of Peter and Ruth, grandmother of Laura, Alice and Stella, and sister to Margaret.
Jean was an accomplished social worker, and socialist, having obtained her Masters of Social Work (1967) and Education (1979) degrees from University of Toronto.
She lived by her beliefs, championing a wide range of social justice issues throughout her life.
Active in the Student Christian Movement (SCM), she worked at summer industrial work camps both in Toronto and Montreal (she met John at an SCM talk he gave, they married in 1958) and then engaged in international causes.

KENT, Irene Dorothy - Passed peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on August 30, 2021.
Survived by her husband Hans Kent and many nieces and nephews.
She loved her outdoor activities – an avid skier, tennis player, swimmer, bike rider and sailor.
She was a gourmet cook, superb seamstress and crossword wizard.
