COLLINS, Gerard 'Gerry' - With sadness, the family of Gerard (Gerry) Collins announces his passing after a long illness at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto on August 3, 2021 at the age of 78.
He will be missed by his wife of 46 years, Lillian, his children Daniel, Cindy (Dennis), Bonnie (Andrew), Michael, Katherine and Earl; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his sister, Barbara.

RICCHIO, Dominic 'Dom' - (1958 - 2021) - It is with sadness that we announce that on August 3, 2021 our dear Dominic Ricchio peacefully passed away at the Dorothy Ley Hospice with his wife by his side.
Dom fought a long battle with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. He fought with steadfastness and determination and beat the average life expectancy of the disease by over almost 2 years, gracing his family and friends with his presence for much longer than expected.
Dom is survived by his loving wife, Valerie, of 12 years, his two children Sophie and Lucas who he adored, his brother Vince (Barbara), niece Chelsea, nephew Michael, Mother-in-law (Rita), Father-in-law (Jean-Louis) and brother-in-law (Eric).
He was predeceased by his loving mother (Maria) and Father (Anthony).

DUNSTALL, Riek Violet - It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Dunstall family announces the sudden passing of Riek (Riekie) Dunstall in Brampton, Ontario on Tuesday August 3, 2021.
Riekie was born to Harry and Hendrika Dunstall on May 29th, 1948. She was a dedicated employee of Yellow pages for over 30 years.
She was a loving mom to her cat Minette. Riekie is survived by Sister Glee (Angelo), Brother Fred (Janice), Nieces and Nephews Joey (Jinny), Lindsay (Adrian), Mark (Liz) Great Nieces and Nephews Nevaeh, Angelo Jr, Xavier and Jessica.

QUI, Nigel Lue - The family announces Nigel’s passing on Tuesday August 3rd, 2021.
Son of George (predeceased) and Suzanne (nee Chin).
Beloved husband of Lea (nee Deres), much-loved father of Gabriel and Nathan. Younger brother to Mervyn (Jade) and Rovina. Uncle to Kristy and Brandon Chang.
Nigel was born in Trinidad and Tobago and although he spent his formative years in Toronto, he never forgot the culture from back home.

GRAZIANO, Michele Lynn - Michele Lynn Graziano at age 62, passed away in hospital August 3rd, 2021 in North York, Ontario.
Michele was born on November 4th, 1958 in Toronto, ON. She graduated from Riverdale Collegiate in 1975. After a successful career as a buyer Assistant in retail, she spent her time volunteering at the church and the Salvation Army women’s coffee hour.
She was married over 27 years to the love of her life, Nickolas Graziano. She is survived by her husband, her 2 children, 4 grandchildren, mother, father, brother and numerous others who adore her.

ROBITAILLE, Robert 'Bob' - (January 23, 1955 - August 3, 2021) - Bob passed away quietly in the early morning with his wife Gabi by his side.
He is survived by six siblings, Dianne, Denise, Anita, Richard, Paul, and Paulette, plus many nieces and nephews. Bob was not the eldest or the youngest, but fell in between and was considered the glue that kept this large family connected.
Bob enlisted in the Canadian military at 17 years of age, he served his county for 24 years before retiring in 1996. Throughout his military career he had been stationed at several bases across Canada from Ontario to B.C. He also did four years in Germany where he met and married Gabi. He did several U.N. tours, Cyprus, Golan Heights (Israel), and Bosnia, with also a tour up in Alert.
To be close to his family, Bob and Gabi moved to Toronto after retiring from the military, where he continued to work as an electrician until he finally retired for good.

MUCCI, Anna (nee Chiarelli) - Peacefully passed away at Cawthra Gardens Mississauga on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the age of 74 years.

If you knew Howie Halter, you knew his three essential traits: Great hugs, corny jokes and a fierce pride in his family.
Howie grew up on Cedarvale Ave. in Toronto with parents Ben and Sarah and older sister Elaine (Arny) Handelman. He was a stellar athlete who refereed in the International Hockey League while pursuing a career in computers.

MATTHEWS, John - John Matthews passed away on Tuesday Aug 3rd, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 62 years old.
John was born on May 25th, 1959 in the beautiful province of Newfoundland, on the west coast in the city of Corner Brook.
John was a very hard worker as he spent 30 years at the same Steel company in Brampton. He was a very dedicated employee and when the day was done, his extremely sociable nature, easy to get along with attitude, enjoyed time with family and friends.

Darlene was a passionate educator for over 30 years and her genuine care and compassion for her students left a lasting impression on thousands of children throughout her career.

CHRISTIE, Margaret 'Peg' Sacheverell (Gisborne) - Died peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre (K-Wing) on August 3, 2021 at the age of 99.
Peg lived a full and happy life, and will be remembered as kind, thoughtful and gracious.
Born in Ottawa and raised in Toronto, Peg was the daughter of Guy Sacheverell Gisborne and Margaret Constance Schreiber Lambe, and the sister of Caroline (Austin) Macpherson (2018).

SALLOUM, Rita - On August 3, 2021, in her 86th year, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's, Rita passed away peacefully with family at her side.
Dedicated wife to Najeeb who has been waiting for her since 2019.

Loving grandmother to Liam.
A gentle, caring soul that brightened all the lives she touched.

WOLCH, Christina Baikie (nee MOWAT) - It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that our family announces the peaceful passing of Christina Baikie Wolch on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at AMICA Bayview Village, in her 92nd year.
Christine was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Wolch (1999).
She was a loving mother and mother-in-law to Bill (Joanne Mitchell), Jim (Andrea), Al (Cathy) and Ron Wolch.
Christine was also the proud and loving Nana of ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Christine returned to the workforce in 1967 and she eventually became the first Director of Student Financial Aid at Centennial College in Scarborough, Ontario.
Upon retirement, Christine and Dan loved to winter in Florida and devote their time to family and grandchildren.
A cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Amos and the palliative team as well as Semone Linton and the PSWs and nurses at AMICA Bayview Village, whose kindness and care for our mother's well-being during her final days was truly appreciated by the family.

WILSON, Ross Gordon - March 28, 1927 - August 3, 2021
Ross passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 3rd, at the age of 94.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Irene and will be lovingly missed by his children, Donna (Bill) Paterson, Doreen (Don) Button, Linda Donovan, Bill (Deborah) Wilson.
He will also be missed by his 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the health care workers and staff at the River Glen Haven Nursing Home for helping him feel at home there and a very special thank you to his PSW Helen who he adored.

When Howie and Eva became parents, he imparted to daughters Amy (Janos) Pataki and Marni Halter (Aaron Del Rizzo) life lessons in self-esteem, proper grammar and the correct way to throw a baseball or spiral football.
He emphasized the value of education even though he once tried sawing off the legs of a desk in kindergarten.

BERRY, Joan Agnes (nee SMITH) - Born on December 4, 1921, in Fort William, Ontario, Joan passed peacefully on August 3, 2021.
Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Beloved wife of Vern (predeceased 2004) for 58 years.
She was an amazing mother to her daughters, Suzanne (Steve Manning) and Marilyn (Brian Fair), who will miss her every day.
Loving grandmother of Kaitlin and Brendan Manning and Leanne and Bradley Fair, who she never failed to entertain no matter what their age. Joan was the eldest of six children.
Predeceased by her sister, Josie and brothers, Jack and Robert. Survived by her sister, Noel McKinley and brother, Richard Smith. Joan will be remembered in the hearts of family and friends for a life well lived.
