WYATT, Adrian Warren - February 26, 1942 – June 29, 2021 - Adrian Warren Wyatt of Markham passed peacefully on June 29th, 2021 at Markham Stouffville Hospital after bravely & graciously living with Inclusion Body Myositis for 18 years.
He will be deeply missed by Peggy, his loving wife of 53 years, his son Scott the big one and son Stephen the skinny one, and his beautiful daughters-in-law Rene and Angela.
Adrian is survived by his sister Rita in England, brother-in-law Donald of Peterborough, and many nieces and nephews.

LIVINS, Arthur 'Art' - We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Art Livins on June 29, 2021.
Leaving behind his beloved wife, Glenis and daughter Viktorija (Rob). Always loved and remembered by his grandchildren Malcolm and Rowan, brother Ivar (Lyla) and niece Katherine.
Born in 1950 to Archie & Vera in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom.
Art emigrated to Canada with his parents and brother in 1954.

HERZOG, Peter - (1962 - 2021) - On Tuesday June 29th, 2021 our beloved Brother and Uncle passed away peacefully at Scarborough general hospital.
Fighting his long battle with Cancer and Leukemia, Peter braved many storms while defeating cancer consecutively for the last 9 years. While it is unfortunate that this was his final battle with Cancer, Peter passed away with the support and comfort of his loving brothers, Paul and Frank Herzog, by his side.
He will forever be missed by his sister, Elizabeth Leech (George Couture), brothers John Herzog, Frank Herzog, Paul Herzog (Cathy Furlano-Herzog), and 10 nieces and nephews: Tara (Jeff), Colleen (Jay), Krista (Chris), Carrie (David), Heather (Mike), Daniel (Jessica), Jenny (Nigel), Frankie (Kaitlin), David (Daniella) and Patrick (Jessica).

JAIRAM, Joan Marlene (Armogan) - It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Jairam (Armogan) announces her passing on Tuesday June 29, 2021 at St. Michael’s hospital at the age of 78.
Joan will be deeply missed by her two children, Marc and Michelle (Jamie); her sister, Jean; her brother, Glen (Jean) and her grandson, Emerson.
Mom recently retired from Scarborough General Hospital where she worked as a blood technologist.

DE KONING, Jantje 'Jane' (Hoeksema) - Born in Leens, the Netherlands, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in her 94th year.
From humble beginnings, Jane always carved her own path and brought her unwavering faith and appreciation for lifelong learning into every community she encountered.
Being one of only a handful of women to graduate from her high school, Jane took her trailblazing ways to Canada and was amongst the first female elders at Willowdale Christian Reformed Church and chaired the Christian school board.

SCOTT, Suzanne (Sue) Maude - 83, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2021.
Sue was born on February 28th, 1938 to Helen Grant Cuthbertson (d.1949) and Lloyd Evan Cuthbertson with stepmother Doris Preston Cuthbertson; and grew up in the Town of Mount Royal, Montreal.
After graduating from King’s Hall Compton in 1955, she received her nursing degree from Montreal General Hospital.
Sue moved to Toronto and worked as a RN for over 50 years. Sue was passionate about helping people and loved what she did for a living.

At the incredible age of 100, Bessie was called home to her Lord! Bessie spent the last day of her life listening to her favourite hymns and being comforted by Sunnybrook's pastor!

HENDERSHOT, Robert 'Bob' William - In his 83rd year, Robert sadly passed away on June 29, 2021 after a lengthy illness with courage and dignity.
Bob was a wonderful husband to Liz, beloved father to Nikki and Papa to Callan who he adored.
Family always came first! Bob loved his road trips and instilled that love with his family. Over the years, they had many wonderful adventures.
The beach will always remain a favourite.
Bob went on to graduate from McMaster University in Honours Mathematics and began his career as an educator with the East York Board.

WALMSLEY, Ruth Ann (Linell) - It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Walmsley announces that she died on June 29, 2021 in Toronto, with family at her side.
She was 92. We will miss her gentle manner and infectious love of nature.
Ruth was born in Toronto to Eric Linell, a neuropathologist at the University of Toronto and Frances Burwash, who worked for the insulin researchers Banting and Best.
She sometimes told the story of crossing the Atlantic with her family at age 11 on the Empress of Britain at the outbreak of WWII, and how the ship zigzagged to avoid U-boats as it sailed from Britain to Canada.

DOYLE, Phyllis Eleanor Joan (nee BUCK) - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Phyllis Eleanor Joan Doyle (nee Buck) in her 96th year, at Joseph Brant Hospital on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
Beloved Mother to her three children, Barbara Doyle, Susan Fischer nee Doyle (Daniel) and Bruce Doyle.
Grandmother to Jennifer Ross nee Fischer (Tim) and Pamela Fischer (Chris Aschaber), great-grandmother to Paisley Ross.
Sister to Robert Buck (Mary) and predeceased by her brothers Allen Buck (Catherine) and Ronald Buck (Betty).
Phyllis graduated from the University of Toronto and went on to teach for the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board for many years.
In her retirement she became an active member of the District 13 RTO.

Peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice, with family by her side on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, at the age of 63.
Cherished wife of Tom.
Loving mother of John- Thomas and Lillian and mother-in-law of Andrew Sun. Devoted and deeply missed Nana of Andrew Jr. (AJ).
Sister of seven other siblings. Karen was Purchasing Manager of C.R. Bard Inc. in Mississauga for 25 years.
Karen was also the founder of Fern Forest Garden Centre, Washago, 15 years ago.

ROMAN, Joseph Andew "Nick" - April 16, 1925 – June 29, 2021
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, Joseph 'Nick' Roman, aged 96.
He was very recently predeceased by his wife and soulmate, Thora Roman.
He is survived by children Neil (Helen), Sylvia, and Anna; five grandchildren - Charlotte, Michael, Nicolas, David and Matthew; sister Tenny Holmes; sister-in-law Patricia Morton; and many more who loved and respected this great man.
He is also survived by Charlie the Squirrel and too many Chipmunks to mention by name.
Our dad left us as he lived – with resolve and strength. He was a man of character, integrity and honour.

PENGELLY, Elizabeth Joan (nee RAWLINSON) - 1931 - 2021 Betty, of Victoria Road, Ontario, died on June 29, 2021, after a long decline.
She leaves her partner, Nathalie Rockhill; her children, John, Clare and partner, Roman, Linda Millington, and Laurence Kavanagh and wife, Jackie; and her lifelong friend and husband, William Pengelly.
Also mourning her are nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Betty was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, grew up in Regina, graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, and lived in England and Quebec before settling in Toronto in 1961, with her growing family.
She taught piano for many years at St. Michael's Choir School, was a piano examiner for Western Conservatory of Music, and retired from private teaching in 2018.

HAMAN, Eva (neé Schlesingerova) - (April 25, 1937 – June 28, 2021) - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing to God’s hands of Eva Haman (neé Schlesingerova), devoted wife of Vladimir and beloved mother of Susan Hayman.
Eva passed peacefully and comfortably in her sleep on June 28, 2021, at Toronto Western Hospital. Our hearts are broken at the loss of this beautiful and kind soul who was the centre of our lives.
Eva, Vladimir and Susan arrived in Canada in 1968 from Czechoslovakia. She had been a public health physician in Prague, but as many immigrants at the time, needed to re-establish herself in another career path that was manageable while adjusting to the circumstances, language and norms of her new homeland.
