Predeceased by her parents Jeremiah and Doris McCarthy and brothers Bernard, Charles, Gary, and sister Irene. Sybil is survived by her sister Marlene and her brother William.

TOULIS, Stephen (Steve) - It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Stephen (Steve) Toulis after enduring and winning many health challenges but losing his battle with cancer.
Steve died peacefully at home with his loving family by his side.
Greatest husband of 54 years to Mabel and proud father of Michael (Helen) and Bill (Marla) along with cherished grandchildren Samantha, Stephanie, Emily, and Adam.

MARTNS, Ilda - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ilda Martins, after a courageous battle with an aggressive cancer, she left the world peacefully on May 27, 2021.
The one-of-a-kind beloved mother to Mark (Patricia), Nuno (Yulia), and Catia (Marcin), and devoted grandmother to Arwen, Emily, William, Leah, Luke, Caleb, Leonora, and Alanea.
Born August 24, 1960, in Zambujeira do Mar, Portugal, to Maria das Dores and José Calçada Júnior, she was the adored youngest sibling of Maria do Carmo, José, Maria Natália, Maria Helena, Margarida, and Luís.
In September 1988, she immigrated to Toronto, ON, Canada, where she proceeded to piece together the next several chapters of her life.

Lawrence (Larry) George Ellerton, age 51, died wrapped in the arms of his loving wife and devoted children on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at their home in Toronto, ON after a courageous and lengthy battle with brain cancer.
Larry was born on August 19, 1969 in Chatham, ON to Vassilici Mplaras and Larry Ellerton.
He grew up enjoying summer visits with his grandparents in Toronto, ON and Aylmer, QC. Larry attended the University of Toronto where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree and met the love of his life, Cindy.
They married after Cindy's graduation in 1994 and welcomed beautiful twin babies, Nicholas and Lauren, in 1997.

MUNDY, Elizabeth Irene (nee WOOLNER) - With sorrow, profound and terrible, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Elizabeth Irene Mundy (nee Woolner), on May 27, 2021, in her 81st year.
A former high school teacher and active in numerous charities, Elizabeth, a proud native of Prince Edward Island, brought grace, humour and a quiet passion to all her pursuits.
Her charm, warmth and kindness was felt by, and will be missed by, all who knew her; friends, family and acquaintances. Elizabeth was an avid golfer, cyclist and gardener and the most welcoming of hosts.
She loved plants, she loved animals... she loved life, and lived every day to its utmost.
Elizabeth always viewed her world and those fortunate enough to be part of it, in the most positive and generous light.

WILSON, Edyth - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Edythe Marilyn Wilson (nee Crawford), on May 27, 2021.
She had been fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer and other health issues, and passed peacefully in her sleep, no longer in pain.
She is survived by her son, Steven Wilson (Jeanette), daughter Sandra Wilson (Dave) and her 4 grandchildren: Mark and Claire Wilson, and Lily and Zach Morris.

HORNING, Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" (nee MURDOCH) - July 5, 1924 - May 27, 2021
Betty passed away peacefully, on May 27th, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by daughter Donna-Marie Mason (John Brennan), son Donald Horning (Sylvia) and grandchildren Robert, Trevor, Janine, Neil and Narissa.
Betty was born in Toronto, on July 5, 1924, to George and Lizzie Murdoch.
She grew up the middle child with two brothers, Rupert (deceased) and Art.
Betty married Gordon Horning in 1950 (deceased in 1980).

MacDONALD, Agnes Mary "Peggy" (nee MacNEIL) - Passed peacefully on Thursday morning, May 27, 2021 at her Long Term Care residence in Mount Forest, Ontario, she was 97 years old.
Peggy was born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
She is survived by her eldest son, Brendan (Karen), their children Kevin and Heather (Jason), her great-grandchildren Sophie and Evelyn, and by her youngest son Jamie (Kathryn), their children Aaron, Grant (Elena), and Alexander.
Aggie was one of eleven children from Sarah and Alex MacNeil, with four sisters and six brothers.
She is survived by one brother, Raymond. Aggie married Ian MacDonald in 1946 and lived in Montreal until moving to Toronto in 1973.

POMEROY, Helen Elma - May 12, 1932 - May 27, 2021
Shortly after celebrating her 89th birthday, Helen passed away in the Palliative Care Unit of the Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on May 27, 2021.
Helen was born in New Brunswick and was the only daughter of the late Elma and Osman Richards.
She was predeceased in 1988, by her husband of 35 years, Ernest Pomeroy.
Also predeceased by her brother Ward Richards and his wife Sharon.
Helen is survived by her brother-in-law Stanley Pomeroy and his wife Loralee, her sisters-in-law Ruth Olson, wife of the late Leroy Olson and Doreen Pomeroy and many nieces and nephews.

STUPEN, Ronald John - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ron Stupen on May 27, 2021.
Son of the late Angela and Daniel, Ron was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was predeceased by his brother Donald. He leaves behind his beloved wife Joan and daughter Lisa.
Ron had a successful career working with the Canadian National Railway where he began his career in Winnipeg, Manitoba working in Human Resources.
After several successful years, he spread his knowledge and expertise to Montreal, Quebec where he continued to work for the Canadian National Railway for ten years.
After working in Montreal, Ron finally resided in Toronto, Ontario where he spent the remainder of his career, working in the Banking industry for The Permanent.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine Yourkevich, at the age of 77 years young.
Predeceased by her father, William Charles Swanson and her mother Ellen Millicent Swanson.
She will be missed dearly by her husband of 56 years Peter Harry Yourkevich, her daughters Lisa (Michael), Tricia, and her sister Laurel (Angelo), as well as her grandchildren Emma and Kyle.
Elaine was born in Winnipeg in 1943, married Peter April 17, 1965 in Winnipeg and had her first child, Lisa in 1968.

SCHOLLAR, Dorothy Velma (nee SKELDING) - Our beloved mother died peacefully on May 27, 2021.
Dorothy was the daughter of Wilfred and Eleanor Skelding and was predeceased by her younger sister Pat Davies (Art). "Do" was born in St. Vital, Manitoba, September 14, 1922.
She had wonderful memories of her childhood in St. Vital and loved to recall all the stories of family life.
Do had a beautiful singing voice and often participated in choirs and various music festivals.

DOWEY, Murray A. - (January 3, 1926 – May 26, 2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray A. Dowey on Wednesday May 26, 2021 in Toronto at the age of 95.
Beloved husband of the late Gertrude (nee Patterson). He will be greatly missed by sons Kevin (Cathy), Murray (Joan); grandsons Brian (Sonia), Joshua (Neve), Andrew (Ashley), Tyler (Meagan); great grandchildren Christian, Anthony, Thomas, Camden and Aila.
Dad was born in 1926 in the east end of Toronto to Albert & Winifred. As a young boy he became very involved in baseball and hockey. In his late teens and early twenties he was considered one of Toronto’s best fastball pitchers winning the Beaches League, City and Provincial Championships. He also played goalie in the Mercantile Hockey League at Varsity Arena.

MANGUIAT, Yolanda Vergara - It is with great sadness that the family of Yolanda Vergara Manguiat announces her passing on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the age of 75 at North York General Hospital.
Yolanda will be lovingly remembered by her brother Antonio Manguiat and her sisters Lucila Gingco and Marina Coloma. She will also be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all her relatives including nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
Yolanda was called by our loving God to rest with her parents Servillano and Crispina Manguiat, and her siblings Gregorio Manguiat, Lorenzo Manguiat, Lolita Garing, Teodoro Manguiat and Maximo Manguiat.

SALVUCCI, Silvano - (February 19, 1958 - May 26, 2021) - Passed at Humber River Hospital on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the age of 63.
Beloved son of Elizabeth and the late Antonio. Cherished brother of Lou and much loved by his sister-in-law Diane. He will be deeply missed by his Uncle Peppino, his wife Ida, his cousins and all his extended family in Italy.
Silvano was born with severe cerebral palsy, but through his tough determination and fighting spirit Silvano outlived his estimated life span by 30 years.

CASOLARO, Stefania - It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Stefania Casolaro on May 26, 2021, just shy of her 101st year.
She was the wife of her late husband Gennaro who preceded her death in 1986.
Beloved mother of Susie and Silvio, her late son who preceded her death in 2020. A loving Nonna to Ryan and Sara (Terrence) and as of March, a bisnonna to Lily.
She will also be missed and cherished by many nieces and nephews.
