Williams DorisWILLIAMS, Doris - (May 22, 1927 – August 4, 2018) - Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket at the eternal age of ‘29’, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Predeceased by her beloved husbands George Derry and James Williams.

Loving mother of Ann (Ron) Botell, Pam (Gary) Martin, Tracy (Brian) Prentice, Glen (Theresa) Williams, Sue Williams, and Karen (Doug) Kerrison.

Cherished Nana of Terry (Tim), Greg, Mark (Libby), Cheech, Brett (Laurie), Eric (Danielle), Stephanie (Joe), Jonathan (Kate), James (Erica), Andrew, Tonia, Laura (Duane), Jaqueline, and Derek. Devoted Great-Nannie of Adam, Matthew, Meaghan, Kayleigh, Jennifer, Ronnie, Samantha, Korrissa, Alexis, Rylee, Corrine, Jackson, Coleson, Reid, Eva, Alex, and Sarah, and Great-Great-Nannie of Gabriel and Vivianna.

Predeceased by her brothers Harold, Gilbert, Douglas, Harry, Lorne, Edward, and Gordon. Survived by her brothers John, George, Kenneth (Shirley), and Gerald (Carol).

Doris was a longtime employee of Ontario Hydro. She will miss her lunches with her neighbours and friends. Her gardens will miss her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8th from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., Toronto. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 9th at 11 a.m. Interment York Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket.
