SILIPO, Rosa - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Rosa Silipo. She passed peacefully surrounded by her children on Monday August 6, 2018.

She is now reunited in heaven with her husband Giorgio Silipo and her son Tony Silipo.

She leaves behind her children Lina (Gino Trichilo), Tony (predeceased) (Anne Marie Miraglia), Josie, Silvana (Anthony Rzepka), Domenic, Cosimo (Renita Queiroga).

Proud grandmother of Mary (Joe Falzone), Rosie (Vince Paolucci), Josie (Dima Semenov), Adrian, Izzy, Julian, Samantha, Christopher, Nathaniel, Jonathan, Sebastian, Sienna, Emma-Krysta, Liana and great grandmother of Nicholas, Michael, David, Mikayla and Olivia.

She was a loving sister to Nicola Galluzzo (Assunta), Carmela Loccisano (Giuseppe), Giuseppe Galluzzo (Giuseppina), Giuseppina Logozzo (Giuseppe), Alba Agostino (Nicola) and Giorgio Galluzzo (Giuseppina).

She will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her greatest legacy is the strong and loving family she leaves behind.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Toronto on Wednesday August 8 from 6-9pm, Thursday August 9 from 2-4, 6-9pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Anthony’s Church (1041 Bloor St. W.) on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow.

In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made in her honour of Rosa to the Canadian Cancer Society.
