Fraser AudreyFRASER, Audrey Mary Tyson  -  Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Extendicare Bayview, North York, on August 3, 2018.

Loving mom to her children David (Dana), Susan (Wayne), Simon (Janet), and Lisa (Art), and her grandchildren Laura, Brooke, Alison, and David.

Predeceased by her sister Diane. She also leaves behind her brother Jim Meikle, and his children Fiona, Catherine and Louise, who reside in Scotland.

Audrey was born in Glasgow, Scotland on October 3, 1927 to James Tyson and Jemina Meikle. She immigrated to Canada in 1953 and made her home in Toronto where she resided all her life. She was a wonderful mother who gave her heart and soul to her children and grandchildren, as well as her generosity towards her favourite charities. She was an avid gardener, and was most often found in the garden of her home in Willowdale.

Audrey had a very special bond with her daughter Susan, and Wayne, who went every day to visit her for the last few years of her life. She spent the last 5 years of her life being very well cared for by the wonderful staff at Bayview Extendicare, with a special heartfelt thank you to Rosie, Helen, Marilyn, Narges, and Venus.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Donations can be made at the charity of your choice or Audrey’s favourite charities, Doctors Without Borders or Amnesty International.
