GIANARAKOS, Vasilios “Basile” Gianarakos - It is with a very heavy heart that the family announces the early passing of Vasilios, a loving husband, father and grandfather, and friend to many. Vasilios passed away on August 8, 2018 at the age of 82.
Beloved husband of Georgia for 53 years.
Loving father of George (Vasiliki), Stavros (Stephanie) and Antonia.
He will be greatly missed by his adored grandchildren Georgia and Vasilios.
He also leaves his sisters, Eleni, Maria, Penelope (Nikos) and brother Panagiotis (Katina).
Vasilios will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and grand-cat and dog, Leo and Loula.
Visitation will be held at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery, Brampton on Sunday August 12, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church in Mississauga on Monday, August 13th at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Brampton.
Donations in memory of Vasilios may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
