McLEAN, Jodi Lynn  -  (May 9, 1988 - August 9, 2018)  -  It is with extremely heavy hearts that Neil and Cathy inform you that our sweet and young daughter of only 30 years has peacefully passed away early on August 9, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Jodi has struggled a lifetime with various medical illnesses that included the disabling disease of Lupus and most recently stomach cancer.

Jodi was the cherished sister of Katie McLean and Kayla and her husband David Maiato. Dear granddaughter of Margaret McNair (Al McNair predeceased) and Leslie McLean (Neil McLean Sr. - Predeceased).

She will be deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jodi was an avid lacrosse supporter. She would regularly have her friend Kim Reimer and her own family spending many evenings at various arenas around the province watching and supporting the local lacrosse teams over the years. Many times taking in a lacrosse game while away on vacation which she thoroughly enjoyed. Jodi had a deep love of movies and music. Her friend Kim Reimer would join Jodi as the two of them enjoyed countless movies. Jodi’s passion for Lacrosse and movies was second only to her love for her family. Her love of Music and other simple pleasures of life kept Jodi occupied for countless hours. As a result of her Lupus, Jodi was sponsored by The Starlight Foundation and sent to Disneyworld in Florida in 2006. She instantly fell in love with all of the characters and became a lifelong fan from that point. Jodi would forever ask to go back for another visit. Jodi will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to Scott Funeral 'Brampton' Chapel, on Monday August 13, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday August 14, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Jodi’s life will follow in the Chapel of Scott Funeral commencing at 1:00 pm. In keeping with Jodi’s wishes, cremation will take place in private with her ashes laid to rest at a later date.

In loving memory of Jodi, donations to the Starlight Wish Foundation or The Credit Valley Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

May you Rest in Eternal Peace.
