SARAVO, Silvio - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Silvio Saravo on Monday, August 6, 2018.
After a lengthy battle with cancer, he passed away at the age of 79 at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario.
Beloved husband of Franca Saravo, loving father to Rita, Silvana (Davide Viola) and Anna (Rich Cowland), and much-loved grandfather to Rebecca (Thomas Kruk), Gloria, Sierra, and Selena.
Pre-deceased by his brothers Giovanni and Valentino, and will be dearly missed by his siblings Michele, Guillermo, and Maria.
Fondly remembered by many friends, nephews, and nieces.
The family thanks the staff for their compassion and excellent care from Mississauga Trillium Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, Etobicoke, ON. Funeral mass on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church,782 Browns Line, Etobicoke, ON at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at Mississauga, ON.
