GRIFFIN, Leslie (Les) - Has it already been a month?
Leslie Griffin died peacefully at home on July 10, 2018, at the age of 96 years.
He has left behind a wife (Patricia), a former wife (Josephine), four children (Jennifer, Paul, Lesley and David), seven grandchildren (Michael, Ryan, Spencer, Chelsea, Reyna, Claudia and Ellison) and two great-grandchildren (Aidan and Brendan).
Les was born and raised in Cheltenham, England, UK in 1921, where he worked throughout the Second World War in the aircraft industry and spent a few years in the Royal Navy after the war.
He came to Canada in 1950, where all of his children were born and raised.
He spent most of his career in Canada working for De Havilland Aircraft of Canada between Downsview and Ottawa.
Although we shall long remember many of your well worn and beloved expressions, many of us shall for much longer remember the love that you showed and the way in which you communicated to us during the long, quiet and silent moments.
Now is your time to rest in quietness. We love you very dearly. We miss you very much. Love Ever.
