Kramar FrancesKRAMAR, Frances (Franka) - Peacefully departed on August 10, 2018 at Dom Lipa in Etobicoke, Ontario.

Daughter of the late Joseph Zdesar and Franciska Loncar, was born on May 5, 1923 in Horjul, Slovenia.

One brother and 5 sisters are still lioving in Slovenia.

She was very dedicated to her Roman Catholic faith and fled the communist regime, who emigrated to Canada in her late 20's after WW2 with her sister Marija (Mici) Lavrisa.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Frank Kramar of Gumnisce, Slovenia on September 1, 1953. Frank Kramar preceded her in death on August 2, 1984.

They were blessed with two children: Martina and Frank.

Franka was an active member of the Catholic Women's League at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Slovenian Churches. She has been a member of various choirs as an alto and an avid lover of music. Frances was also actively involved in prayer groups.

She stayed home to raise her children for a while and then worked for the Red Cross as a homemaker. A woman of courage, an organizer, who loved to serve others and full of energy. As a result of her generosity of time and talents, she was surrounded by many family members, friends and acquaintances..

She was very dedicated to her faith and atteneded Mass daaily when possible. She has influenced many lives. preceded in death by her brother Joseph towards the end of WW2.

Her life will be forever cherished by her children Martina Bruce ( Jim) of Carrying Place, Ontario and Frank Kramar of Huntsville, Ontario.

Frances has 3 grandchildren: Michael, Joanna and Elijah along with one great granddaughter (Katie) who will greatly miss her.

Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, Toronto on Monday from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11:00 am interment to follow.
