Zamperin AngeloZAMPERIN, Angelo Benito  -  Sadly, Angelo Benito Zamperin, 86, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 12th at Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke (Toronto), Ontario.

He was born on May 30th, 1932 in Valla (Treviso, Veneto) Italy, and emigrated to Canada in 1955, where he married his loving wife Rina Bertolo in 1960.

They raised their two sons (Bruno and Paul) in Weston (Toronto) in a loving house filled with Rina's home-cooked meals using the freshest ingredients from their bountiful backyard garden.

With his beautiful voice, Angelo loved opera music and travelled extensively singing with Coro San Marco for many years.

Angelo is survived by his wife Rina, his sons Bruno (MaryJo) and Paul (Peter) and his two grandchildren Kira and Mitchel.

He will be sadly missed by his three sisters in Italy (Maria, Andrina, and Giulia), his brothers and sisters-in-law, his many nieces and nephews, as well as long time friends.

Visitation will be in the 'Weston Room' at Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston Road in Weston, ON) on Wednesday, August 15th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church (2100 Jane St in North York, ON) on Thursday, August 16th at 9:30am, followed by Internment at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St, Concord, ON).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to The Dorothy Ley Hospice or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
