BRASIL, Maria Brasil - Passed away peacefully on August 10, 2018 in Sao Miguel, Azores at the age of 94.
Beloved wife of the late Jose Silveira Brasil (2009).
Loving mother of Eduardo and Natalia Brasil, Theresa and Octavio Oliveira, Joe Brasil and Lucy and Sam Tassone.
Devoted grandmother of Steve Oliveira, Danny Brasil, Eddy Brasil, Jamie-Lynn Oliveira, Michael Tassone, Daniel Tassone and Jayden Brasil.
Proud great-grandmother of Dylan Brasil, Matthew Oliveira, Jacquelyn Oliveira, Andrew Oliveira, Nicole Brasil, Natasha Brasil and Eric Minns.
Maria was predeceased by her brother Manuel Carvalho and sister Guilhermina Carvalho de Sousa.
Maria will be resting at the Cardinal Funeral Homes, Toronto, on Sunday, August 19th from 4 to 8 pm, with prayers at 4pm. The Christian burial Mass will be held at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, 706 Old Weston Road, Toronto, on Monday, August 20th at 9.30am. Entombment to follow at Toronto.
