Ratcliffe AnnRATCLIFFE, Ann (Wissuchek,Czindl) - Of Scarborough passed away on August 16, 2018 at age 84.

She was born on January 10, 1934 in Alberta and moved to Ontario in 1940. Ann did an incredible job of raising 5 children on her own while working full time as a teller at the bank.

She later found the love of her life in the late Harry Ratcliffe. They were married in April 1980. Unfortunately, Harry passed away of cancer 9 years later. In the early years of their relationship, both their families would get together for many picnics.

Family gatherings were always important to her, and often included her late sister Theresia’s family. To her, the love of family and friends was the most important treasure a person could have.

She was very proud of her children Barb Mendrek (Richard), Gary, John (Teresa), George (Lianne) and Dan (Evan). Ann also had a very loving relationship with Harry’s daughter Michelle.

She will be greatly missed by her 10 grandchildren: David and Laura (Barb), Kristen, Ryan and Meghan (John), Jennifer and Christopher (George), Carl, Lillian and Sara (Dan).

Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough on August 20th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The service will take place in the chapel on August 21st at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local hospice or any other charity of your choice.
