Majhanovich LjubaMAJHANOVICH, Ljuba  - Peacefully at McGarrell Place, London on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the age of 80.

Beloved husband and companion to Suzanne for over 50 years.

Lovingly remembered by mother-in-law Eleanor Wall, brother-in-law David Wall (Kathryn), nieces Clare and Caitlin and his Croatian family Skrlac and Vranich.

He will be dearly missed by his extended family Navjot, Jyothi, Nithin, Xiaoxiao, Roger and children Zhihan and Bohan.

Sadly missed by dog Ruslan and cat Malchik.

Ljubo was a gifted Professor of Russian and Slavic Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Windsor for many years.

He enjoyed travelling with Suzanne and visited over 70 countries in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

He was always well-informed on world affairs and loved discussing them.

Ljubo was a lover of classical and Croatian folk music, a former soccer player and sports enthusiast. He was a kind and compassionate, true Renaissance man. He enjoyed many happy summers at the cottage on Pine Lake in Muskoka.

Many thanks to the caring staff at McGarrell Place, especially to Marcie, Amy, Betty and Shelley.

Memorial contributions to the Parkinson Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in Ljubo's memory.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
