PASS, Gordon James David 'Jim' - 'Jim' died surrounded by family following a brief on Saturday, August 18th, 2018 at the age of 76.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother Mary, his wife Jessica, his children Matthew, Laura (Paul) and Torrey (Lucie), his grandson Alfred, his sister Linda, his brother Paul (Annie) and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Herbert and brother Ronnie. His children will lovingly remember him as a father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Jim was born on June 27, 1942 in Toronto, Ontario. He graduated from Sir George Williams University in Montreal in 1964 with a degree in Political Science.
Jim proudly served as an infantry officer with the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, notably in the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus. He left the army to pursue an ambitious entrepreneurial career; chief among his ventures was The Pass World Corporation, formerly The Pass Group Management Consultants, which he founded in 1972.
A Memorial Service will be held at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, 467 Sherbourne St., Toronto on Thursday, August 23rd, at 2:00pm.
