HENNINGSEN, Clifton Hughes - At the age of 94 years passed away peacefully at the Westbury in Etobicoke, Ontario on August 27 2018.
As an amazing Dad, Gramps and friend he is survived by his daughter Nancy and her husband Larry Barham of Raleigh NC and granddaughter’s Paige Alexandria Barham and Hannah-Leigh Henningsen Barham also of Raleigh NC.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Fran and his beloved son, Douglas Clifton. Also, his 2 sisters Dorothy Raymond and Bernice Newbury both of Montreal.
His many years of giving back by volunteering at the Westbury in many capacities was an example of his dedication and love for people. Cliff proudly served his country in the Airforce and retired after 46 years from a career with the Canadian National Railway. His appreciation for music was expressed by a long career with singing groups spreading joy to all who listened. Cliff was always known as a gentleman and friend to all. He will be dearly missed.
Friends may call at Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of the Q.E.W) on Friday, August 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. for visitation followed by a Funeral Service at 12 p.m.
