JACKSON, Margaret (Blades) - (March 8, 1926 – August 30, 2018) - Passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the age of 92.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Duncan Jackson (November, 1993) and longtime companion Joseph Cunliffe.
Loving mother of Donald Jackson (Pat Creech), Jo Anne Smithson (Michael), Gordon Jackson (Patricia) and Kellee Firth (Brock).
Cherished grandmother of Daniel (Christina), Denise (Nolan), Brendon (Tessa), Corrin (Christian), Heather (Jenny), Mark (Janine), Christopher, Stephen, Peter (Alana) and Kathleen (Nate). Dear G.G. of Elijah, Elizabeth, Spencer, Dylan, Abigail, Emma, Lily and Natalie.
Margaret will be missed by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation at Smith’s funeral home, Burlington on Thursday, September 6th from 12 noon until the funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. A private interment will take place at a later date. As per Margaret’s wishes, guests are asked to please wear “dress casual” and bright colours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret to The Carpenter Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
