Hunt RonaldHUNT, Ronald - (August 3, 1931 - September 4, 2018) -

Suddenly on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Ronald, beloved husband of Carol Anne (Snyde). Beloved father of Wendy Jarman (Doug), Carolyn Fritz (Peter), Laurie Bowen (Mark) and Jon-Paul Hunt (Fiancee Jennifer).

Loving grandfather and great grandfather. Predeceased by his first wife Nancy Reid Hunt, mother of his three daughters. Predeceased by his parents and siblings.

Pastoral ministry began at the Salvation Army and in 1967 he was ordained in the United Church of Canada. Ron then served longtime pastorates throughout Ontario. His last church was St. Paul’s United Church, Oakville.

We extend a thank you to the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, September 6th.

A service of thanksgiving for Reverend Hunt will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 454 Rebecca Street, Oakville at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7th. Interment at Glen Oaks Cemetery.

Donations to St. Paul’s United Church or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
