Beloved son of Peter and Lesly. Loving brother of Joshua.
Dear grandson of Leonard and the late Toba Weinstein, Stan and Meryl Solomon, and Gary and Evelyn Title.
Great-grandson of Caryl and Bert Barruch.
Devoted nephew of Allison Weinstein and Arthur Drevnig, and Richard and Beatrice Title. Cousin of Emma, Max, Abby and Jacob.
Owen was a brave 14 year old boy who was and always will be remembered for his bright smile, effusive laugh, and great sense of humour. He fought a tough battle against leukaemia for five years. He made many friends everywhere he went, spent significant time volunteering and doing public speaking for organizations including Sick Kids Hospital.
He was a lover of skateboarding, skiing, mountain biking and many activities involving a high risk of personal injury. He consumed large quantities of sushi, ramen and other Asian foods. He will be deeply and sorely missed by all who knew him.
At Beth Tzedec Congregation, 1700 Bathurst Street (south of Eglinton) for service on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Interment Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Shiva details will be posted.
Memorial donations may be made to Owen's Fund supporting leukemia research at SickKids or to Chai Lifeline.
